Maybe that's why pandemoniums buildings have been left up. A 2-4-1 deal.

I'm really going to miss it. Still one of the few rides left in this country that still gives me that stomach feel...

I think they had hoped to have got the floorless to work as new parts were fitted but they found another problem with it.
They may have had thoughts to re-theme the ride but the budget needed to bring it back to a 5 tower operation again was cheaper to remove it and add another flat in its place as well as a thrill family coaster for 2024.
I notice they opening more in November then ever before.

Now if this is for just for Thomas land and select family rides they could block off the top end of the park and they got nearly 4 weeks to remove Apocalypse and Pandemonium building/ queue line before the Christmas event starts on the 26th Nov as the 4D cinema is been used again for a Christmas show,Accelerator and the Viking area is all open for the Christmas event.

It isn’t the pirate ship is open to as well as Christmas open rides like accelerator and thorI think they had hoped to have got the floorless to work as new parts were fitted but they found another problem with it.

I know there’s more rides open I just listed the rides that were around the Apocalypse and Pandemonium site.It isn’t the pirate ship is open to as well as Christmas open rides like accelerator and thor
Interesting open throughout November before Christmas events, it isn't clear what is open then. It doesn't say Thomas Land only, suggesting whole park is open until end of November (except Apocalypse of course) maybe its a trial since the park has been so busy this year.

I thought it would have been as it’s usually just that from Feb half term and then weekends only in March with just Thomas land and select family rides like the Jolly Buccaneer, Carousel and if Accelerator not available then the Bounty will be instead.Spoke to guy in customer services, November is Thursday to Sunday until magical Christmas with thomasland and selected family attractions only

So was on park today and found out some good information but 1st some updates around the park.
The stage area by the fun foods has been finished

They also added lighting and more seating in the outdoor bar area

I didn’t go on the train today but not sure if theses sensors have always been here

Work around the castle of dreams area and in the zoo.

And the work around the lake finished

Staff also think part of the hunt for Zebadiah candle lit tour will lend into part of the pirate adventure building and when on the train the doors at the back were open.

Why do they need so many for just that gate?

It was a secure way of opening the gate. The gate would be pretty pointless if it could be opened by a single sensor, as it was mainly there to stop people sneaking in. Something which used to be pretty bad at the park.
As long as the train passed through the sensors within a certain speed range and activated more than a couple of sensors at once (it always did), then the gate would open. Something that would be practically impossible to replicate with a few rogue people. As the sensors would have to be activated within a certain time frame and in series, which was tuned to the speed of the train.
Pretty sure this was installed between 2002 to 2003. No idea how long it lasted..

No I am sure it was when the wristbands were removed and the park became one price.
