Flume demolition

Morning folks, I have only been to Alton Towers once this year and the Flume was still standing and seemed intact. I wondered if demolition had yet started, and if you had a place for people to post and photographs they have of it coming down?

Hi Ash!

As far as I am aware demolition of The Flume cannot commence until they have recieved the necessary planning permission. That will likely happen at the council planning comittee meeting in either July or August.

As for photo updates etc, I envisige that these will be posted in the SW8 General Discussion thread (as the demolition is linked to the new coaster development).

For that reason I am going to lock this thread but I'm sure they'll be no problem finding news/photos of the demoliton when it begins!
