The celebration was fantastic, made all the better by Neville's dive

What game were you watching? There was clear contact and Phil should never have been booked.

The goal at the end should have stood. He was clearly onside.

I'd say it was borderline, although considering some of the decisions that went your way I'm surprised it wasn't given...

Guess the linesman didn't want any more Everton wives to have to run for their lives tonight.

?

Hahahahaha, grow up, that was a ridiculous dive. He knew it and Moyes even said he'd be having words.

And no, it wasn't close to borderline, he was comfortably onside. Even Moyes said it was a goal.

You know what? Yeah, I'll admit that was a dive. But then this shows the gap in class between Everton & Liverpool. When Neville dives he apologises, and Moyes admits that his player dived, and promises to take action. When Suarez dives he pulls that stupid moany face at the ref and Rodgers says the same old "he gets targeted" crap after the game.

No wonder 99% of neutrals wanted Everton to win today.

He does get targeted. He exaggerates and dives because he gets targeted. The Stoke game will show you that. That dive that got all that attention was less a dive and more him just giving up. He gets kicked to pieces and stood on, and officials do nothing about it. There was a standing ovation when he got a free kick last week, that's how bad it's got.

He brought it on himself for being a diving cheat, he didn't just get his reputation for no reason. If he played by the rules he wouldn't get targeted at all.

He shouldn't be judged on his reputation. If Huth had stamped on any other player, he'd have been sent off. It'd be like booking Scholes every time he makes a challenge because he has a reputation for fouling.

Reputations (both deserved and undeserved) don't just crop up overnight (although the undeserved ones usually do and that's because of one person's opinion of a situation that occurs on a regular basis)...

I think the only people who don't realise how much of an idiot Suarez is are the Liverpool fans... Once again another player with decent talent ruined by an absolute streak within him...

Talking about dodgy Premiership stuff, Chelsea gone and complained the Clattenburg said naughty things to two of their players, including sommat racial to Mikel... Pot, kettle, black comes to mind... Chelsea have shown such scummy nature ever since the start of the JT saga, and of course pelting players with coins and harming your own steward will be ignored... And the defeat and two sending offs brushed under because the referee was 'awful' (he wasn't, both red cards were fine, the offside down to the lino)...

Urgh, arrogant tinpot clubs everywhere...

The defeat would not have happened had the offside goal not been given - regardless of the other two decisions. I have no issues with the way we played; aside from the first 20 minutes we looked just as good as we have in any other game and absolutely dominated. On another day we'd have won that by 3 or 4 goals - but as it was, down to luck and refereeing incompetence we conspired to lose.

If you forget that the freekick was down to a classic Stevie Starfish,Coates fouled the Everton player to head the ball across and Suarez should have been sent off before then yeah, the Suarez disallowed goal was harsh.

It was disallowed for offside, not for the foul. The referee didn't consider it a foul by Coates, neither did Moyes. It was ruled out for being offside, and it clearly wasn't. Unlike in a certain other game.

The Chelsea thing is genuinely funny. The hypocrisy is incredible. If he's genuinely said it he needs to be punished, but it's a bit suspect how this happened in a game where they were shafted by the ref and so soon after the Terry saga.

Gerrard added: "His manager did every paper, every radio station and every TV channel talking about Luis Suarez and then his captain, who is meant to be setting an example, blatantly dives.

"With what he said about Luis Suarez before, David Moyes was trying to get in the referee's head, which is fine, that's all part of the game, stuff like that, but you don't expect your captain to dive like that.

Be right back, I have an appointment rolling around on the floor laughing at this hypocrite.

Gerrard on the derby:

"There was only one team who came to play football and that was us. Everton are not better than us."

So Stevie, Everton had more passes, a better share of possession, more shots on target, more corners, made less fouls and more importantly are 7 places higher in the table, yet you reckon Liverpool are the better team?

Hmm, I think Moley isn't the only one who has an appointment rolling on the floor laughing tbh...

Considering Everton and Stoke have played the most long balls in the league and Liverpool the second least, the Stoke comparison is valid. ;)

More possession? By a pretty small amount. Passes mean nothing. Stats can say anything you want them to. Including the one above.

Everton fans, who sing "the baby's not yours" at every derby acting all upset is so cute. They're acting upset, but really they're just happy to be acknowledged by a star for the first time since Rocky visited. Maybe with all those coins that got threw onto the pitch they'll be able to invite him back.

And come on, the weakest squad we've had in the modern era, full of kids and only one striker, would have beaten you, at your home ground, if the linesman hadn't wrongly flagged for offside. We were disappointed not to win, you were happy to draw.

Could've also won if Sterling could consistently finish...

Getting police involved with Clattenburg... Chelsea ??? Apparently it's similar to the Evra situation where other players heard it, rather than Mikel and Mata...

And stuff going round saying about incidents that happened in the changing room after the game involving Mikel and the ref... Definitely sounds suspect and Chelsea trying to play the innocent card...

Of course, refs are NEVER verbally abused by anyone in football, never...

Sterling's miss was jaw dropping.

The whole Chelsea thing comes across as them trying to restore their image after the Terry incident. "We're really the victims in all of this, honest".

Will you seriously stop resorting to basically saying that things that what a few idiots have chanted once or twice is the only thing you can hear from the Street End every time we play at Goodison? Stop tarnishing us with same brush, especially considering some of the vile stuff Liverpool fans have come out with in the past.

As for being happy that we drew, I'm not. But I'm not ashamed of the team either. I was as shocked as the people around me when we went 2-0 down, but we fought back and I've no complaints from the effort the team displayed, especially considering how poor we played against you last season.

Also, the "weak team" point; we had our 2nd choice RB playing, our best player is still recovering from injury and our key creative player is banned because of a QPR player being a diving twat. Obviously we had less selection problems than you did, but to say you played our strongest team was far from the truth.

Your team was in a lot better shape than ours was.

A few idiots? There's no other match that comes close to the Goodison derby when it comes to things that get picked up by the mics. Nice of the victims chant to come back out as well.

We threw socks onto the pitch when you were planning on moving to Kirkby. Your lot have thrown coins at our players the last two derbys. But I guess that's in your blood considering the bananas that got threw at John Barnes in the 80s.

"WE DON'T CARE WHAT THE RED SHITE SAY, BUT WE'LL RELEASE A PR STATEMENT WHEN A RIVAL MANAGER CALLS US A SMALL CLUB"

How Arsenal have managed to pull back from 4-0 down at half-time to take it into extra time is beyond me.

6-5?! This is fudging ridiculous!!
