Double Post. Sorry, but necessary.

Here is the code to join the FPL Fantasy Football League 2025/2026 (see below). Don't forget, don't bother entering unless you're willing to front up a tenner in the next week or so for cash prizes to be distributed at the end of the season. We will sort out the exact structure of prizes when we've clarified exactly the final number of players. It's looking like around 6 players so far so that would probably be a larger cash prize for 1st place and then a lesser cash prize for 2nd place (unless anyone wants another smaller prize for third). If anyone else joins (tell your friends on the forum) then we can amend things. We still need to find someone to hold onto the entry money until the end of the season. I don't mind this being another well established TS member, but preferably a mod. Just basically, not someone who turned up last week and wants to run off with our money :tearsofjoy: @Jb85 @D4n @OtherBen @RicketyCricket @Spark

It must have been working earlier as someone has joined. Maybe the website is having a bit of a tantrum this evening. I can't get on the site myself at the moment either. Let me know tomorrow if it's still not working.
 
Double post again. Apparently the FPL website has been down since yesterday. All I can say is try again later to join the league. The details are still a few posts up 👍
 
Probably gonna have to cancel the FPL league tomorrow unfortunately as only one other person has joined so far and it's not really worth it unless we get at least the 5/6 that originally showed interest 👍
 
Websites working again, Even if they dont join the league before the season starts, they can still join as long as the team is in for cut off on game week 1.

Yeah, theoretically they can. Not a massive fan of people joining leagues after opening weekend though as some dodgy folk have been known to choose a few different line-ups and then depending on which one does best, enter that team into all of their leagues. If everyone's in before opening weekend it just leaves no room for suspicion. Pretty sure no-one here would do that, but it's just tidier anyway if everyone is in and sorted before Friday's deadline :) :) 👍
 
Wonder if any of you can prove me wrong by sticking to it for the full year.

Was at Anfield last night.y first time back since Jota died. Think we did him and his family proud.

As for that one, parden my french, ******. As a Liverpool fan, absolutely disgusted by what happened. Knew it was that as soon as Taylor walked towards the bench. With the rise folk, dragging knuckles and shouting at folk in hotel rooms, MPs pointing at boats in the channel, whilst blowing Trump off. It's not a shock this has crept back in. Did the sed the crying over players taking a knee "what about the veterans?" Please.

It still confuses me, how he thought abusing a black player on the opposite was acceptable. Whist he would have celebrated 3 black players scoring for Liverpool?
 
Absolutely appalling was on the left hand side of the Kop so the main stand was right on front of me so saw the whole incident with the guy actually rolling out of his wheelchair bay right up to Semenyo.
Seen footage from after that of him being escorted from the ground. Hope he enjoys the lifetime ban from the ground and the police action being taken against him.
 
Despicable behaviour. Was almost a shame that Semenyo didn't score a hat-trick to win the game.

Open racism keeps getting worse.

OK, so Gameweek 1 of the Fantasy Premier League was complete by Monday, and Gameweek 2 starts tonight.

I've managed to take a slight lead at the top of the table but I did use my bench boost last week which worked out quite fortunately.

I assume we're still doing the £10 each towards a prize fund? Any of you guys want to volunteer to hold the prize money until the end of the season? I don't mind doing it but the league was my idea so who knows if I would have set it up just to run off with the prize money and you never see me again?

Anyway, I wish I could say good luck for gameweek 2, but in all honesty I don't wish you luck because I want to win :laughing: :tearsofjoy:

I’m more than happy to hold the money for the season. Hopefully I’m considered respectable enough to do so. 😭

If members of the league DM me on here I’ll send out my bank details to them to get it transferred across. Obviously in the event of anybody not paying then they’ll be disqualified from the prize fund and the prize bumped down accordingly
 
Fab, thanks. If the other members of the league could endeavour to get in touch with me before the end of this game week then that gives everyone a fair chance of winning still I think :)
