According to Screamscape, Gardaland could be looking into a Splash Landings-inspired waterpark for 2020:
P.S. Here's the Screamscape link: http://www.screamscape.com/html/gardaland.htm
Very interesting; we'll have to see how things develop!Screamscape said:2020 - Waterpark - Rumor - (3/14/19) The latest rumors for Gardaland in 2020 suggest that the park may be looking at adding a separate gates waterpark to entertainment guests visiting the resort area and on-site hotels. One early rumor suggests they may be taking inspiration from Alton Towers waterpark, which could mean that this would be an indoor facility for guests to enjoy year-round.

Potentially, a water park could happen but to me, it seems more likely there's going to be a fantasy kingdom expansion. On Twitter, the park replied to a tweet saying a new attraction would be coming. The park have made a 50m by 100m area in fantasy kingdom by moving 4 rides to the medieval area and 2 rides bring temporarily closed for the 2019 season. For reference this is a similar area in size to Mammut.

Local campsites, B&B’s and hotels hasn’t stopped Merlin from building an infinite amount of accommodation at Alton Towers.

Garda's at least might have some semblance of safety (in fact the whole of Movieland Studios is made of death... Fantastic park though)
Hi just a quick question if any one could help but if I wanted to visit Gardaland and movie park with my wife and two kids what would be the best way to travel and more importantly where would be a good affordable place to stay . Any help would be much appreciated thanks in advance

Fly into Verona airport (very cheap with Ryanair), then it's a short train journey. Look on booking.com or Air BnB and there's plenty of reasonably priced accomodation around the lake.

Hello all,
I am planning a trip to Gardaland whilst I am on holiday this year to Lake Garda in around 4 weeks time. I've not been before and was just wondering if anyone had any knowledge you can share about the park before I visit.
Are queuelines typically very long? Is a fast pass worth it?
Which rides typically get the longest queues?
Are there any rides to go to first / wait for in order to avoid queues?
Do you have any other general advice about visiting the park for the first time?

Doesn't Gardaland already have a waterpark?
