General Queue Times Discussion

Is it cause the average age of guests that go to Alton Towers haven't had the vaccine why they still can't fill every row? At Drayton they full every row now on the family coasters but you got to wear a mask. I wonder what the queue times would be like if they did fill every row.
 
Looks like most of the big coasters are currently closed due to a thunderstorm in the area.

Here at the park right now for a quick visit, got a few rides in early so think we will call it a day for today. Pretty miserable weather earlier and the thunderstorm has just topped that off now, a lot of disgruntled people but at the end of the day it’s completely out their hands which people should understand.

Oh dear - currently closed: Funk'n'Fly, Galactica, Nemesis, Oblivion, TH13TEEN, The Smiler, Wicker Man - so literally all major coaster except for Spinball Whizzer and Rita!

I expected it to get those sort queues at a weekend, not a Monday. Imagine how busy it'll be this weekend, especially with mardi gras starting too.

Had 3 hours on park. Only got on 4 rides but it was busy and I was taking it slow. Overall I waited:
Smiler 50
Gangsta granny 45 (15 min breakdown)
Wicker man 30
Duel 0
 
Queue times today seemed to be quite underestimated, Thirteen and Rita this morning both on the app as 10 mins, both queues over 30 minutes, and then Galactica this afternoon advertised as 40 minutes, actually queued over 90 minutes for it!
 
I assume on top of having early ride close they are making queue times worse by reducing operations?

Is Galactica running one station and Oblivion on one train loading?
