- A "support arm" at the front of the first car, to which the wheels are attached, failed and collapsed
- This support arm was added to the train in Spring 2023 to replace the original that had worn out
- The replacement support arm was incorrectly manufactured; it did not have a required cross plate and there were serious welding defects
- The park used a Swedish company that they have used many times in the past for these new parts, but the work was outsourced to a subcontractor; the park were not aware of this
- The person doing the welding had no formal welding training or a valid welder's examination certificate
- The original drawings used to make the new parts were not clear as to whether the cross plate was required. Grona Lund experts thought that the drawings were clear
- Due to the failure and the sudden stop of the train, the lap restraints were subject to 5 times more forced than they would be during an e-stop; the brackets of the safety bars became curved (and I assume some failed)

A shame that Jetline is being removed, but not surprising.

What's worrying is that faulty part, even if it was made by someone who wasn't qualified, must have passed through multiple inspections from people that did know what it should look like. At the very least I'd have expect the mechanic who assessed the train daily to have noticed dodgy welds and missing sections.
With so few of the classic Schwarzkopf's left it is such a shame to know this one could have still been going strong had they not botched what should have been a simple part replacement.

Jetline was recently demolished, and Vildare Musen will be closed this year.
Intriguingly RCDB have today posted that Fenix will open in 2027, same type of coaster as Mechalodon at Walibi Belgium.
Not sure were this information has came from.

Looks like it has come from some new planning documents, as seen here on reddit.Jetline was recently demolished, and Vildare Musen will be closed this year.

Makes sense that they would want to get a replacement for the space left by Jetline before proceeding with the already announced expansion. And seeing as Vilda Musen is being partially redesigned (hence the new name Vildare Musen, Wilder Mouse) a new Gerst to go alongside this is logical.

Didn’t I hear a while ago that they acquired some land in the plot opposite the park? I seem to remember them having a large expansion planned into that area, but it seems to have gone quiet lately.
