How did TowersStreet begin?

This might sound like a strange analogy, but it reminds me of the manufacturers of IBM-compatible machines (such as Dell and HP) who outlasted IBM itself, and forced IBM to exit the home computer business entirely in 2004.

P.S. If TS had never existed, then maybe some of the other websites and forums would have stuck around longer - although I am not so sure.

If TS didn’t exist it would be because we never had a reason to leave TT so TT would probably exist still in that scenario as it would have effectively run as TS does now…

TS basically operates as we ran TT back in the day.
 
It is going back some years that is, I signed up to ATA and TTF way back in 2002, or 3, as Doopy Dan, how time flies eh!

I remember signing up to here under a different name pretty much the week the place switched over, never used that account, forgot the details and then ended up with the current one today.

I remember seeing Doopy Dan around TTF.
