It's The Same Old Song

The king of the mashup, DJ Cummerbund, has just raised the bar. Forget your four chord song, this is game changing!

A mashup is not the same as a song which sounds the same. Blending "That's The Way (I Like It)" and "Jolene" is cool, fun and funky, but also off topic.

You have found a really cool mashup of songs which compliment each other well, and can be mixed together, but not songs which sound the same as each other.

Nil points.

Yeah I know. But where else was I gonna put it? ;)

Maybe I can get back in Goose's good books with this classic?
They both share a near identical bassline and chord structure.

The classic Air on a G String, by Johann Sebastian Bach, (as made famous in adverts for my father's former employer)....

And Whiter Shade of Pale, by Procol Harum, (featuring on the original studio recording, a session drummer who went on to teach yours truly my first few drum lessons in my teens)....
