I’m not convinced this question is in good faith but I’ll give it a go anyway.
A theme park putting on an event that costs them additional money to operate during off peak dates would be a poor business move as even if a portion of families do attend through means of truancy it’s unlikely to be enough to offset the additional costs.
Presumably Legoland have an idea of anticipated visitor numbers in conjunction with term dates and plan their events accordingly.
Whilst there is evidence that school attendance has fallen post Covid I don’t think the numbers would warrant a change of policy by Legoland, nor would it be a good look for them to be seen to be encouraging truancy with events aimed at children during term time.
As an aside the majority of increases in lower attendance are due to a shortfall in SEN education places as opposed to truancy but that’s another thread.
You’ve made a great point about SEN education. There’s been times our sons been beside himself trying to go school so we’ve taken him out of school and for a day out to stimulate him.
Like school holidays. He can’t cope with the busyness so we go in school term. Although this year have a massive battle with Warwickshire council about fines imposed for our other children!
