Just for those who don't want to give the mirror more views:
It's taken this long to get to enterence price.

This is in fact something I do believe they rightly should be called out on and I'm glad they have been. They did mislead people and is the reason I did not renew my annual pass. It's taken this long to get to enterence price.

It caused quite a storm on here if I remember rightly.

See here.
We had lots of discussion on this at the time as Merlin were very mis-leading with their 'sale'. Good to see them pulled up by the ASA!

This Kay Burley scenario reminds me of a newzoids sketch...
And now you have me addicted to Newzoids.

That genuinely wasn't my intention.
Thought this was worth taking from the incident on the smiler thread.
The metro, news, but not as you know it.
Thankyou metro. You confirmed what we were all thinking.

The mirror have also created this as a news story

They have mentioned the tag lines, unlike the metro.

Well that's the first time that the tag lines have been picked up. Confirms what we all thought, there's no chance Towers can bring them back without some sort of uproar.
I find it highly amusing that someone can be so horrified by an advert on a cereal box though!

Why is this bad for them?
Ok. I thought at first before I actually read it, that it was the London eye!!!Well just the public's perception of rides at the moment.
So, it's the same reason that just after the crash, in the initial, "we don't understand what has happened yet" phase of reporting the smiler crash, they used examples of deaths at 6 flags and Oakwood.
