Good evening! Voting is now LIVE for the 2015 member awards. Voting will remain open for one week and will close at 6pm Sunday 24th January, so get your votes in quick. Don't forget you can only vote once!

You can place your vote over on the Member Awards 2015 page

We're going with the same categories as last year, with one change in that the Best Scarefest Costume category has been removed. There wasn't a massive amount of dressing up this year, so seemed a little pointless. If you need a reminder of the rest of the award categories, they are:

Best Non Alton Towers related Topic
Funniest Topic of the Year
Fail Topic of the Year
Best RCT/ No-Limits creation

#Maaartin cheapskate of the year

The important bit
  • You can vote on all or just some of the categories
  • To enter you'll need to be registered as a member on the forum
  • Winners will be announced Sunday 31st January.
  • The only prize in addition to bragging rights for the year is a no-expense-spared pretty image for your signature.
  • Anyone found taking the awards remotely seriously will be chucked on In the Night Garden an endless walk around an empty abandoned Flume queue line for the entirety of their next Alton Towers meet.
  • And finally - Absolutely no begging for votes. This means no strong hints, no garnering sympathy votes by saying how "you'll never win anyway" - get a grip people :tongueout:. Just place your votes, and wait for the results to come in :).

I am going to ban myself from vote for my daughter for New meet members 2015, It only seem fair.

Quick question - is the award voting open for a week as stated, which means it closes this Sunday 17th?
Or closes as stated on Sunday 24th, so it's open for two weeks? :)

From what I gather, voting will close tomorrow and the votes will be counted and announced the Sunday after. :)

It takes a full week to count a few votes? Send them up to Sunderland, they always get results in first.

Don't worry, your invited to my celebration party for getting the Hottest Bloke award.
Errrm, excuse me sweetie dharling, but I think you will find I had that one in the bag, dont ya know :D
Many a time I've had guys and gals fall over in the street as I walk on by, my beauty dazzling them into a trance

Can't help but notice a lack of results.... ;)
Clearly I didn't read what Craig originally posted thoroughly enough. I thought it was 1 week for voting and 1 for counting. Turns out there are 2 weeks for voting, so all being well, winners should be announced next Sunday!
