Pretty much all the modern rides will run on Schneider or Allen Bradley (Rockwell) maybe Siemens at a push.So what's the nerdiest park/coaster fact?
Mine would be that the smiler's PLC is more then likely an Allen Bradley plc (HSE reports expert witnesses mentions it)

For anyone interested in the controls side of things, have a look at Irvine Ondrey Engineering. They have quite a good page and are 'enthusiast friendly' if you have any questions. The co-founder Brian Ondrey worked for Consign AG and did the controls for Air.

Is there a sensor on the loop or is it on a time delay from leaving the top of the lift given the ride computer would of detected the train leaving the lift? The earliest a Nemesis train can be dispatched is when the other train is travelling through the vertical loop (in automatic mode).

I think it's a timer. There's no need for it to be accurate or proven as it's not part of the block system. Is there a sensor on the loop or is it on a time delay from leaving the top of the lift given the ride computer would of detected the train leaving the lift?

it takes a 6ft man 260 steps to walk through Haunted Hollow, but a 4 foot man would only take 230 because he's running at incredible speed

A Vekoma Mad House has a gondola swing of 30 degrees (15 each way) for the 78 seater model (Hex). The 40 seater model (Drayton's Haunting) has a gondola swing of 15 degrees. (7.5 each way).
