Hi Guys

Thought you may be interested in a book that I have written on UK Roller Coasters. It has been professionally designed and published by Schiffer Publishing in the US and will be available worldwide on its release. It has 224 pages and has 397 full colour photos all taken by myself at 38 different parks in the UK. There are 18 pages alone on the current Alton Towers line up (the largest number of pages dedicated to a park) and John Wardley has even been kind enough to write a Foreword for it as well.

Also included are 8 pages of photos and text on the past coasters at Alton, including the Thunder Looper, Beast, Mouse, Black Hole, Corkscrew and even the 4 man bob.

The book is due for release on March the 28th 2016 and has just appeared on Amazon this week for pre-order.

It will be available from all major book stores and online retailers, so please have a look at the Amazon link below which also includes a quick look at a few of the pages.

As you can see, this is a well designed, professional book all about the current line up of UK roller coasters as at the end of 2015.

There is also a Facebook page which has just gone live this week, which will feature more details as the release date approaches, along with some of the content that didn't make it to the final draft.

So please give this page a view and a like as well (and maybe even a cheeky little share as well :) )

Thank you for reading.

As a PWH fanboy, I have to approve of this spread! Seeing the previews has certainly made me a lot more interested in this book.

:)

That was a bit of good luck then that I opened it at that page.

I too have a soft spot for PWH and get down there at least once a year. Will be interesting seeing what goes on the Tales of the coast site.

Hi All

Just to let you all know that my book has now been officially released and is available from all major (and not so major) online retailers.

Published by Schiffer Publishing in the US, "Coasting around the UK: Roller Coasters of the United Kingdom" is a comprehensive look at all the UK parks as they were at the end of the 2015 season, which have at least one "major" coaster. There are 38 parks featured and full profiles on 80 coasters.

Within the 224 pages, there are 397 photos, all which were taken by myself. There are also 6 closed parks featured along with 10 lost coasters including the 4 Man Bob, Alton Beast and Thunder Looper from Alton.

John Wardley was even very kind enough to write a foreword for my book

Its currently retailing around the £20 mark on sites such as Wordery.com and a little more on Amazon UK

If you have any questions on it, please feel free to ask and I will do my best to answer.

Just bought a copy. Nice book, good quality. Haven read more than a few pages yet, but from what I've seen so far it appears well laid out and full of information. Great to see a foreword by John wardley and that the parks have cooperated.

Just like to point out though that th13teen was SW6, smiler was SW7, and SW8 hasn't been built yet ;) (page 24)

looks awesome, am going to ask my parents if i can get it when i get a chance!
edit: is it available in book shops (like Waterstones) yet, or is it only on Amazon?
