You took some pretty good photos :)

Me and Tom saw it on Saturday night. There weren't many people watching, which seemed a real shame. The show was great (what we saw of it, anyway), with a brilliant stage and great acts. It feels like a mini concert! I really hope Alton carry this on, or something similar, as it really is good.

Does anyone know where or when the show featuring Sir Algenon and Erik the Yeti is? I've seen it advertised online and in an email earlier in March but haven't seen anything specific. I ask as Erik the Yeti is awesome!

:)

Well, I'm sure not going to complain about a proper show! :D Looks to be well staged, even if it's not really my cup of tea.

My only gripe is that with this in the conference centre, it would be nice if they would scrap the kari-oki in the atrium, so there is somewhere you can have a nice quiet drink without noise.

Even with the singing in the atrium this Easter its been far quieter. The volume was turned down quite a lot. It was actually rather nice, I had a few drinks during my stay, no kids screaming around, just a nice cold alcoholic beverage with a live singer playing at a very nice volume. Not quiet, but not loud either - just the perfect volume. For once the ATH felt very adult at night! Made a change compared to Easter 2012 when there were god-knows how many children running around screaming, it was packed in there and the volume as loud as a concert.

Saying that, it felt so dead in the hotel, like literally, it had no life. I don't know what it was, there were people there. But it felt like all the life was sucked out the hotel. Still, not bad in there anyway.

I was really impressed with the theming inside the conference centre, it looks very nice in there and carries the steam punk theme beautifully! The entertainment was great too. However it was very quiet in there. Which is a shame because the singers were so full of life and didn't have much of an audience to play with. So well done to them for keeping up some form of life in there. I hope this doesn't put Alton off doing this again because of lack of guests. Clearly the awful weather that the country has been hit by has hit Alton Towers pretty hard with guest and hotel guest turnouts.

I dont think the hotels have been that busy overall this Easter, on all my trips both have seemed fairly quiet and so have the hotel car parks. They were even doing last minute deals with free theme park tickets the other day. My guess is the Smiler opening late will be costing them alot of money!

I havent seen the shows or anything but did have a look in the conference centre yesterday and I was very impressed, entertainments have clearly stepped it up this year, and im sure they will do it again in the summer months when the hotels are fully booked.

Its also so much nicer to get rid of things like Pirate Bill, etc from ATH.

The hotels should move and find a better park.
