NL- Blaze's Coaster Corner

Back from the dead, this is the topic where I'll dump my various NL creations for your downloading and criticising pleasure.

To get started I'll just quickly list everything I've uploaded previously

First up is Teseract. It's designed to be a large travelling ride (think Olympia Looping) built by the gy with the unspellable name. Far too many track nodes, could have spent more time on the lift supports and that twisty high bit doesn't fit, but overall, I like it. Hope you do too:

Next up is the coaster I built for Christmas. As such, it's got a lovely xmas theme, and is a gentle but fun little kiddie coaster. Probably wouldn't make much sense riding a coaster called Christmas Coaster in summer, though:

I've built a floorless coaster, but if you squint really hard, it's really a wingrider. It was designed to be one, and I know if it really was, the heartline would need adjusting and the supports would need moving out a bit, but it's close enough. I named it Raptor, because I'm really imaginative:

I've always been fascinated by Premier launch spaghetti bowl coasters, so had a litle go of a vaguely spaghetthi bowl coaster of my own. It's pretty nice, I think, and I called it Fury:

This next coaster is called Twisted Technicolor and was built for a competition ran on CF, back when I was a part of that site. I'm part way through sorting out the supports, as there's far too many, but I'll probably never bother finishing it, it's hardly worth it, but it's a very fun ride.

Violet Hill, is one of my favourites, possibly the best hand built ride I've ever built. Sadly I lost the CF competition I built it for by a point, but ah well. It's a huge wooden coaster, enjoy:

This is another woodie, Mountain Beast, built to be wild and unchained, which is why it does have laterals and sharp changes. Oh, and massive airtime, all below tree hight:

Next, a little Eurofighter I made in about five minutes, but have a soft spot for. It's the less than Incredible Hulk! Enjoy:

A B&M Giga coaster, named, rather splendidly by Diogo, as Spunky the Monkey's Funky Junk. Well I had nothing better. It's a huge, sprawling beast of a ride, but fairly realistic. Decided to make the first hills ejector-y to make it more interesting and because 10 seconds of weightlessness would get boring. There's some subtle terrain work to make it a little less bland, although I'm not sure it fits the character of the ride. Either way, it's a huge, >300ft B&M with a splashdown, what's not to love?

My first attempt at a Dive Machine. The drop is more the Krake style, because I haven't cracked how to do the 'normal' drop yet. It's hardly inspired, more an attempt to learn the style, but it's OK, and the second half is unique for a dive machine. I present to you, Cthulhu!

Generic Name is intended as a pretty run-of-the-mill small hyper in the style of Goliath. They're all the same, generic rides with generic names so I didn't think it worth a decent name. It's pretty long and about as unique as these sort of rides come. Tons of hills. Enjoy.

Next, Swamp Monster! No, not some 50's B-Movie, but my custom Eurofighter. My first proper Eurofighter in fact. Pretty twisty, unusual layout, including a very strange inversion and lots of headchoppers. Again, enjoy!

Creep is launched Eurofighter, painted in glorious reverse-Cedar Fair! It was made because I wanted to do an element like Mystery Mine. It didn't end up anything like it, but I thought I'd do a little layout anyway. Lift supports are weird because of a)the track going under it and b)I'm lazy

My last dive machine was a decent start, so I decided to do another one. I think the drop is better than last time, but it's still not perfect because I did it at like half 11 at night! I also wondered why there's not been a compact dive machine, I mean, how hard can it be? Also, click the 'Improved friction box', it appears it turned itself off in the Construction Kit and I forgot to put it back on. This is called Stalker!

Purple Aki's Adventure. A little Gerst bobsled, with a terrible first drop. Wanted to do a circular drop, one big section wouldn't work, so I used a group of sections, and it went badly wrong. Should have put it into AHG but never mind. Probably should have ended it after the last midcourse, but ah well. I finished it so I'll upload it. Enjoy this tribute to the North West living legend.

Painted is spotless Virgin (Mary) white, Crucifixion:Ride Of The Heretics is a hyper coaster of Biblical proportions! Loop through Leviticus, dive into Deuteronomy and ride across Revelations, while massive g-forces hammer you into your seat, with nothing but the power of your faith comfortable B&M restraints nailing you in place over the airtime hills - you'll swear you can make out Bethlehem in the distance! This is one ride where you will want to keep your arms and legs inside at all times, because Jesus may have rose from the dead three days later, but you won't! No Romans allowed! Apologies for the misspelling!

Coming to a Chinese park that'll never actually open, it's new Intamin Colossus-beater Looping Coaster Mega 11 Fun! Featuring 11 inversions and a drop I'd like to redo! Well, that drop. Tried doing it with a curved section (should have learnt after last time) but that banking was all over the place, so AHGd it, tried to do it myself, everything, but nothing worked. Take it as it is, it's close enough. Wanted to get 13 or more, but oh well, didn't want it being too long or to cheat like Colossus by stringing rolls together. Enjoy!
(Pro tip, the node that's obviously badly banked on the drop, adding about four degrees to the right should fix most of the drop's issues)

Last, and not quite least, another coaster also inspired by The Swarm, as well as our dearly departed Corkscrew, this little Intamin packs a big punch. Gone for a more direct version of the drop, which I'm not sure is as good, but I'm fairly happy with most of the ride for a quick little project. Hope you enjoy it, it's Cobra!

And that's it! Future uploads will have more images, but I just wanted to get everything up quickly, so enjoy them, please give me feedback and lookout for more in the future!

I'd still say my favourite coaster of yours is Raptor. I love the look of the roll in the image beneath the lift! :)

When are you releasing another ride?

I'm working on one that I may or may not release, as it was more of a mess around than a serious effort, and if I do a competition, I'll have to focus on that, but I'd like to get a couple done this summer either way. :)

Now what gave you that idea? ;)

There will be terraforming, and I'd like to enclose the station and prelift, but I can't do 3D buildings, so just pretend. :p
