Paultons Park: General Discussion

In which case, how would it be "a take on the Smiler", unless you thought the model type would be an Infinity coaster?

The suspected Vikings coaster likely won't be Paultons' version of the Smiler or Nemesis, but what I'm guessing at or hoping for is Paultons having a more modern 2020s equivalent of Alton's defunct Corkscrew or Efterling's Python (but with immersive themeing and narrative similar to Alton Towers' Thirteen and Wickerman).

Sorry, but you literally said the following, which led to my reply...
or even a lighter Valkyrie themed take on the Smiler
It's fine if upon reflection you don't think it will be, or the analogy doesn't quite work, but please don't deny that you said it.

OK, to clarify things, if the Vikings (phase 1) does gang busters with their biggest ride yet, and Paultons continues to shift away from being perceived as too kiddie orientated, I wouldn't rule out that they'll eventually may have an even more extreme ride in the Viking section (phase 2 or 3).

Also the most recent video update on the new Ghostly Manor ride:

Team Edit: Episode 6 of the series covers the technical aspects of the new ride as well as an interview with the Lagotronics team regarding the process of designing and installing the ride.

Or been to Legoland……

Which I enjoyed actually, rekindling my passion for attractions and rides, even if Legoland Windsor and the other Merlin park resorts in the UK will likely look rather quaint and a bit dated next to Comcast's upcoming park resort at Bedford (with unexpected Paultons Park being in a more comfortable position).

I'm still impressed we are at footers stage and nothing has been leaked as to what it is yet

Are there no planning docs? Or did they not need to submit anything for this project then given it is possibly not going to be mega tall?

How many rides will be in this new Vikings area and what rides will they be that plot if land is large and from what they did with Tornado Springs it's very exciting

No planning docs as the majority of the park is covered by a GDO(?) ... see also Tornado Springs, Peppa Pig World and the dinosaurs land.

All we've had is a planning application for a change of use to leisure for one of the areas behind Edge.
