If it does end up on Xbox Games Pass, it won't be at launch or any time shortly after that. From the FAQ:

"We currently have no plans to launch Planet Coaster 2 on Xbox Game Pass."

Personally I'm not worried about any of the missing parts of planet coaster 2.

The most important thing about the game is that it performs well with larger parks. As long as everything is done right under the hood everything else can be sorted.

We can only go by frontier's track record of support and development of the game post release. In both PC 1 and Zoo they both had many extra gameplay features and improvements post release over the subsequent years. I'm perfectly happy for them to release the game and let me play it while the rest is sorted over time.

I'm very much looking forward to jumping in. I just hope that the haters don't derail the game on release enough for it to impact the overall success of the game.
 
Pleased to see those things are in the works. Still don't really understand why they can't be in the game at release though given that this is the third 'Planet' game.

Still, looking forward to playing it on weds.

That guy is a hero. I don't think any of us go a day without hearing something of his. He could be a millionaire if he charged for his music! Deserves a knighthood if you ask me.
 
I am looking forward to giving this ago Wednesday.

Some things are missing yeah, but there is a lot improved from the first and some new additions which make me want to jump in and take a look.
Stations would be nice, but my enjoyment of the rest of the game and all the new additions is not solely going to be based on that.

For me, ray traced dark rides and messing with all the lighting and great stuff that entails, will be great fun for me to try on Wednesday.

Long gone. Pretty much every game these days on any system requires a "day 1" patch. That's down to the state of the gaming industry.

Though sometimes I'd imagine these sort of things get put lower down on the priority list. Certainly there were some bugs with custom billboards. At least with Planet Zoo a lot of those kind of additions were free, so hopefully that will continue.
 
Still not much information out there, even in reviews, about that all important subject for console players. That dreaded piece counter!

Having all the bells and whistles in the first game was all well and good, but ruined when you reached the piece counter limit.

I'm hoping that the fact it's been mentioned so little is because few people with hands-on experience have managed to reach the limit yet. It's now being designed from the ground up as cross platform, so hopefully it's more intuitive than it was in the original.
 
My dad finally pre-ordered the Deluxe edition for me tonight! Early Christmas present lol. At first he set the gift to drop on Christmas Day, but then changed it so I've got it now. Hoping I've got the Bonus Rides Pack as I can't see any confirmation of that.

You will have the bonus rides yes, they confirmed today was the last day to get them, via Facebook earlier.
So no need to worry, you'll have the full collection come tomorrow.
