More stuff

How are they still operating? I have some family in Suffolk and they said on a trip last year it felt like there were more staff on park than guests.

Back when it was properly affiliated with Gunton Hall, my family used to stay there and we'd pretty much live in Pleasurewood for the week, heading out to Yarmouth once or twice. 6 year old me loved it. I wonder if it was actually decent back then or if I just didn't know better and was easily pleased?

The park was in its prime in the 80s and 90s. The problems seem to have begun when several years went past with no investment.

Good but of history here https://www.pleasurewoodplace.com/park-history

As for @Rick it definitely is 1984 as the cine180 states its new for '84

I remember the current travelling log flume opening and was a regular visitor prior to that, and I don't recall any other log flume.

Good news; Pleasurewood Hills’ Schwarzkopf coaster Cannonball Express will be reopening with the park on 4th July after an extended closure:

Nice to see the park making the effort to restore this classic ride, and correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t it quite a rare Schwarzkopf model?

Yeah it's a Jumbo V according to RCDB. It was the only one of its kind ever built!

Wait, they’re calling It Cannon Ball again?
Better than Enigma I must admit. I’m hoping they’ve put more of the props back in, especially around the awesome helix.

Yeah, been Cannonball since about 2015ish when they went around changing names again, I can't wait for Saturday, although the weather looks pants it will be really good to see the changes around the park like the new log flume
