Pleasurewood Hills

Eggspress is an absolute bone shaker.

Wonder if there are any decent second hand coasters on the market that would be a good fit for the park
There is the Schwarzkopf Looping Star that was formerly at Dreamland Margate at Lion Park Resort. Alton Towers' former Black Hole is still up as well, along with a Vekoma Corkscrew.

There are also a few other flat rides up for sale as well. There is the former HUSS Fly Away from Pleasure Island that was extensively refurbished before and after heading to Chile along with a few other HUSS models such as a Breakdance 4 (Rodeo) and a classic Enterprise.

G Force maybe not. Definitely Rocket though!!

Note the ‘jokes aside’ 😀

I would love Pleasurewood Hills to get some sort of GCI Woodie or Launch Straddle Coaster.
Weirdly these are both coasters that I considered as a good fit for Pleasurewood Hill’s sister park Drayton Manor prior to the construction of Gold Rush.

To be honest, I’m not sure if they fit here as well. I think it’d be better if they followed a similar strategy to Freizeit-Park Geiselwind by investing in cheaper the cheaper cloned/second-hand attraction, at least for now.

I believe the Schwarzkopf at Dalmaland is for sale too if they're going down the old ride plussing route
If they get an old Schwarzkopf it's probably a decent ride. Even if they they get a few years out of it it plugs a gap in the lineup until they get something bigger and better. Both Pleasurewood and Lighwater will need to be built up gradually and make sure investment is cost effective. No point spending a load of money buying a shiny new Vekoma coaster if the rest of the park still looks gutted

Having never been to pwh, is it a park with potential or just the potential to be better than it is?

Has some locals nearby that could cause planning issues and only has an audience in school holidays.

Nice setting if they look after it a bit more. Could be a nice small regional park.

Eldorado from Etnaland would be a good investment, I presume it is for sale now that it looks to be permanently closed.
We don’t know for certain is it’s been permanently closed. The local environmental agency shut the place down due to breaches in rubbish disposal rules is my understanding, and that they’ve been told they can reopen when they have proper systems in place. If they sort this stuff out, it could well reopen.

If however it doesn’t open again, Etnaland does have some pretty good rides and it would be really interesting to see where they end up. If the Mack coaster or Eldorado ends up in the UK, that would be amazing.

Its currently in a dire state. Loopings let the place go to the dogs, removals galore, slashed the opening times and calendar and its become a laughing stock locally and so its immediate catchment area gave up over the last few years.

We dont how long the new lease has been signed for either which I think will determine how much of a investment we will see...
