I often hear people mention Oblivion and how sometimes (although rarely) uses its second station.

However, I have no idea where said station is? Could anyone tell me? (Just out of curiosity)

Oblivion only has one station. People are referring to the dual loading mode, where the two shuttles are dispatched and advanced together. In single loading, only one shuttle is in the station at a time.

Potentially a stupid question - so I'm willing to be laughed at. I have a standard season pass and myself and two others are going to Scarefest on the 20th. Can I pay the £10 to upgrade to a Scarefest ticket online or do I need to go to the box office? And a second silly question - will the bring a friend offer be running?

You can buy the £10 upgrade fee online. The link is on the season pass page of the website.

The £15 bring a friend offer isn’t valid for Scarefest.

Is it school holidays both full Scarefest weeks or will one be quieter?

Both weeks are holidays but the second will be buisier. Tbh on a longer day like scarefest you should be able to get 10-15 rides in anyway. Well unless it's really busy.

Last few years the second week has been the quietest. Going through all the counties, it looks like this year, that twice as many counties are off school in England during the second week than the first. However not taking in account Wales and Scotland, some schools in Scotland break up and go back before 21st of October, while others in Scotland are off school either of those two week.

I think the problem is, that Scarefest has grown to become very popular as well as reduce ride availability (flats) and poor ride operations = a day of misery

Looks like I've planned to go the wrong week

Wondering if anyone can help please.

Could anyone recommend somewhere to stay relatively close to AT? (No more than a half an hour drive away) The only issue is we are driving up from London first thing Friday morning and want to be at the park for opening, so anywhere we check in would be quite late at night with it being scare fest. Not sure if this is going to be possible!

What date are you looking at?
Chain hotels like:
Ashbourne Travelodge https://www.travelodge.co.uk/hotels/385/Ashbourne-hotel
Uttoxeter Premier Inn https://www.premierinn.com/gb/en/hotels/england/staffordshire/uttoxeter.html
are about a half hour away and always allow check-in well into the night with no arrangement needed.

You will only find small B&Bs closer, most will be happy to do late check-in but would require prior arrangement and are possibly booked up for Scarefest dates by now.
