What's the longest you've seen the SRQ get to?If you mean how long is the queue from there then long, very very long. I doubt it would get to that point though as it would be longer than the main queue.

What's the longest you've seen the SRQ get to?
probably not the longest it’s ever been but it was about 40 minutes last week for SRQ.
When I was there on October 12th it was to the bottom of the stairs and was roughly a 45 minute wait for me, main queue was 80 minutes advertised. What's the longest you've seen the SRQ get to?

I've not seen it past the bottom of the stairs, but then I have not been much this season. It can be hard to predict how long any single rider queue is in terms of time, as it all depends on groupings in the main queue.
That's ok I guess. I'd rather queue 45 than 80. That's nearly half of the main queue timeWhen I was there on October 12th it was to the bottom of the stairs and was roughly a 45 minute wait for me, main queue was 80 minutes advertised.
What is the best day to go to scarefest between 26th oct- 3rd nov (half term)
I would also like to add, subject to the kids going back to school on Mondays 4th of Nov and that there is no teachers training day on the Monday, Sunday the 3rd should be quiet and if not, the evening will be as many people will avoid doing a late night due to work and schooling the next day.

Welcome to TS Tia!Hiya all,
Do many kids / teens dress up for scarefest?
Also, as Scarefest newbies...does anyone have any top tips please? Our kids are 18 and 12, so a family of 4 with older kids and our last visit was a few years ago, just before WM opened.
TIA
If you're new to scare mazes (like I was recently) I recommend Darkest Depths. Brilliant starter maze, well themed but not too scary. I also encourage you to do a Thirteen night ride- Nothing like riding an un-lit coaster in total darkness. Wicker Man is great in the dark too, with the fire, lighting and increased speed.

Welcome to the forum. Yes guest do dress up as well as those guest that don't, I can't tell you a rough percentage but the closer you get to Halloween and Halloween night itself is when you get more people dressing up. Remember that Alton has a policy ban on face masks.

If you’re planning on doing mazes book them for the afternoon as the queues are shorter and they’re all inside! That way you can get in more night rides

Can go in at any time as far as I’m aware.Does anyone know the latest time you're allowed entry into the park during scarefest?

Has anyone had the merlin holiday club email? Offering discounts for stays next year, however when I looked at splash for a weekend in September (we always stop pretty much the same weekend) and price is over £100 more compared to this year

Yes you can upgrade as far as I’m aware you just pay the difference in price.Whats the cheapest way of entry into Towers? is it bogof?
And if they give you two entry tickets can you use that to upgrade to a season pass when you leave etc?
Thanks
Two for one is generally cheapest, or season pr annual passes.

I'm on my way to the park right now!
Just wondering, as we need to pick up fasttrack wristbands at the box office, does it make sense for us to take the walking route into the park after dropping bags off at the hotel, or should we take the monorail? Not sure if the walking route will lead us away from the box office or not.
Thanks!

It will make no difference. The walking route and monorail lead to the same place. Once u r through the turnstiles the box office is on your right hand side halfway down towers street. When at the box office queue to the right hand side as the left is for ride access passes/wheel chair hire.

The online link no longer works (comes up no packages). So looks like either the offer has now finished, or it's only available on resort.
