Meeting place? In what way, like meeting somewhere in the park if your group have split up?

Sharkbait Reef is included in admission. Think the MAP discount is valid in the shop though. :)

FYI Waterpark tickets for Jan-April 2022 are now available to purchase. The Waterpark reopens from its winter maintenance on 21st Jan.

    Hello!

Long time lurker, first time poster ...

I don't suppose if anyone knows whether AT are doing their usual 40% off short breaks offer this January? I'm sure it's normally around now, but there doesn't seem to be any sign of one this year.

I'm desperate to take the kids back to cbeebies land, but at £448 (not including park & waterpark tickets), they can think again!

    Welcome :)

It seems Merlin have had a change of strategy this year as none of their UK attractions are offering any January sale discounts on overnight stays as they have previously done.

It may well be that due to the popularity of UK breaks at the moment that they feel they can fill enough rooms without needing to offer discounts.

    Thanks for the reply!

That is a shame, I hadn't thought of looking at the other merlin attractions as well.

From the outside looking in, it seems like a ludicrous decision that could cost them. I could well imagine a large proportion of their bookings are utilised with that early bird offer in previous years, but I guess that's easy to say when I can't see the stats!

Hi Steve, welcome to the forum!

Is it important for your family to stay on resort? There are lots of good B&Bs in the local area and you can get good deals on day passes if you book in advance or use discount codes. The hotels have become too expensive for what they're currently offering; only if people vote with their feet will that ever change.

Reasonably quick one, anyone know if theirs a list, or would be willing to help compile a list of songs originally played around spinball whizzer on opening? There doesn’t seem to be anything anywhere…

Ones I can remember (I think):

The beach boys - Barbara Ann
The beach boys - I get around
The beach boys - Surfin USA
    Eddie Cochran - Summertime Blues
JXL - A little less conversation

Please move to a new topic if needed.

No one knows yet as no information has been released by the park. I wouldn't expect that to happen until nearer the start of the season. :)

    Thrill Seekers-

    1. Nemesis
    2. Smiler
    3. Oblivion
    4. Wicker Man
    5. Galactica

    For Families-

    1. SpinBall Whizzer
    2. Runaway Mine Trail
    3. Duel: The Haunted House Strikes Back
    4. Gangsta Granny the Ride
    5. Congo River Rapids

    Children (4-7)

    1. Cbeebies Land
    2. Rajs bouncy Bottom Burp
    3. The Royal Carousel

These are just my preferences, so I wouldn't count on them, but I hope they help you In some shape or form :)

Just a reminder that this is a quick questions topic to allow for quick factual answers to questions rather than posting your own opinions (such as favourite rides etc). If you'd like to discuss something like that, we have a number of topics which already cover subjects like this (e.g favourite flat or rank coasters in terms of ride experience)

There’ll be plenty of people here who have Merlin Annual Passes (or MAP for short) but they only gain you access to Merlin parks. For Fastrack passes for the rides (I.e far less time spent queuing) you need to buy Fastrack which are available either as solo tickets (so 1 ticket = 1 ride) or as packages where you get a selection of rides depending on how much you spend. The platinum Fastrack allows you unlimited Fastrack access to rides that participate, but you pay the price. It’s currently priced at £105 per person.

MAPs and season passes allow regular visitors the option to visit whenever they want for one annual payment, although some dates are excluded depending on the type of pass you get.
