According to my friend who's a LL regular, they still have that system?LEGOLAND originally had that, but parents of disabled guests (notably not disabled guests themselfs) kicked off about it

It's supposedly been tweaked so it's not entierly that now.According to my friend who's a LL regular, they still have that system?
I'll give you two answers here as it depends what exactly your asking. Why?
Thank you.I'll give you two answers here as it depends what exactly your asking.
1. Answering from what they were saying, it's because it's unfair for their disabled kids to wait turns.
2. Crappy warrior/autism parents wanting to make it all about themselves and not wanting to queue
Yeah which is why #2 is the bit they don't say publiclyThank you.
I'm not sure offending people with an unwarranted sense of entitlement should be a consideration personally, the priority should be getting access to as many people as possible in as equitable way as possible.
The RAP lines last Scarefest were diabolical. I don't even want to think about what they'll be like this year with no Nemmy.Time to “Chessington” it I think…..
It’s for the benefit of everyone in the RAP queue. Imagine the lines at scarefest.
Or time to actually enforce the existing rules instead of applying new rules which even some staff agree are problematicTime to “Chessington” it I think…..

Is it not too late for this?Or time to actually enforce the existing rules instead of applying new rules which even some staff agree are problematic
The online system would enforce the rules for the staff by keeping return times accurate.Or time to actually enforce the existing rules instead of applying new rules which even some staff agree are problematic
Yes but I genuinely believe that lack of rule enforcement is why that's the case.Is it not too late for this?
I understand what you are saying but the quantity of people in the RAP queue is too high for the capacity of the rides.
With the volume of people using it the issues are well beyond this.Yes but I genuinely believe that lack of rule enforcement is why that's the case.
A hell of a lot of people think it's free fast track..With the volume of people using it the issues are well beyond this.

For once I don't disagree with you, the rules around timeouts etc.. are what prevent that. And that is because, in effect, it is.
They technically have, the problem is there's still plenty of people who haven't gone through the new process yet, and there's still the merlin approval method.Ultimately they need to tighten up the eligibility requirement to reduce the volumes using it. They might be able to eliminate long RAP queues at rides with a virtual system but even if they do they still risk problems on two fronts:
1) RAP guests unable to reserve the ride(s) they want due to lack of availability, with popular rides "selling out" hours before the end of the day
2) Guests stuck in unmoving main queues due to high volumes of RAP guests (particularly likely in the event of unexpected reductions in capacity e.g. wet weather operation on Spinball or Galactica losing a train).
Merlin have created a system where one group of guests is now in direct competition with another when trying to get on rides. This is inevitably going to cause a huge amount of conflict and resentment, as seen on yesterday's TS FB post about Rita batching (which is now approaching 500 comments).
By 'merlin approval method' do you mean certain people who can't get through Nimbus' process are getting Merlin to override it?They technically have, the problem is there's still plenty of people who haven't gone through the new process yet, and there's still the merlin approval method.
Yes but the not merlin manager in person way is for 7 days only.By 'merlin approval method' do you mean certain people who can't get through Nimbus' process are getting Merlin to override it?
If they give these things out whenever there is a complaint the whole system is pointless, arguably.Yes but the not merlin manager in person way is for 7 days only.
There is still some evidence required, I'm not entirely sure how strict merlin are.If they give these things out whenever there is a complaint the whole system is pointless, arguably.
