It was an April fools joke by Ride Rater.

Ripsaw is in bits and was last spotted in a motorway lay-by quite a distance away from Towers. It won't be returning.

Definitely an Aprils Fools Joke and has to be my favourite Alton Towers Aprils Fools Joke this year.

Ripsaw is dead. The most they could have gotten out of it is another 6 months. So it would have soldiered on but died just before Scarefest and Fireworks.

It's a shame it would have been interesting too see hex with ripsaw maybe replacing the room that you "spin", so your actually spinning
