I reckon they did that because they didn't want people crowding to watch it, understandably.I'm sure locals were delighted with the 7am implosion.
Usually the least windy time of day is often given as the reason, to prevent dust spread.I reckon they did that because they didn't want people crowding to watch it, understandably.
But I think they just like waking people up.

I literally had the same thought after watching the video!
What I find crazy is how on hitting the ground almost every track piece breaks away like it's made of matchsticks. I don't know if they did something to preweaken the joints but assuming they didn't it's remarkable it just fell apart as it did.
