Seems like AT have had a change in comms strategy in trying to get the information out themselves first - what with the junior coaster and now this. I’m all for it, and all for seeing the Skyride back too!
I feel like it shows the state of the park that a core transport offering being fixed is being celebrated by them
Give it time.If the ‘old’ Alton/Merlin management were still in place, this would still be SBNO or demolished by now.
What do we think opening time wise? I expect it won’t open with park, more likely 11am like it used to in recent years, maybe even 12pm on quieter days.
It certainly used to. They'll probably add a few more.Does the Forbidden Valley station have two queues so you can travel in either direction?
Wouldn’t that somewhat defeat the point of it doubling as a transport system for the non-ambulant and so on?

Towers Street skyride is probably the last remaining ride in the park where if you want to ride then you must join the (singular) queue.
I think they should really consider it being mandatory to disembark after each “leg” of the journey. The queues at FV were often dreadful and it would help spread people around the park
Other option is only loading every other car at TS, leaving every other car free for guests to board at FV.I think they should really consider it being mandatory to disembark after each “leg” of the journey. The queues at FV were often dreadful and it would help spread people around the park
Haha! Hopefully Skyride will be fine. Monorail however…Give it time.

Well this is a pleasant surprise.
TS has no space for additional entrances, if they tried to split the current entrance in two you wouldn't be able to get a wheelchair though, which would very much undermine the point. Similarly there is no room for additional entrances towards TS from FV.
The ride rarely has long queues for that leg of the journey - most people use it to travel between DF and FV, so the lack of a dedicated entrance hardly matters.
correct me if I am wrong but the DF (not sure about Towers street, but I think I recall one) stations have an run around (presumably to remove gondolas for some reason onto) Disney's skyway system also has this run around, but they use it as a method of allowing disabled guest to board without having to stop the sky way, it wouldn't do much for forbidden valley but could prevent having to stop the ride.TS has no space for additional entrances, if they tried to split the current entrance in two you wouldn't be able to get a wheelchair though, which would very much undermine the point.
