Strange Rides

The Half-pipe Canon at Joypolis in Japan looks like a pretty strange ride:

Wouldn't mind having a go myself though! :D

It's just a big, ugly clumsy looking thing with a weird seating arrangement and an even weirder set of movements.

So who's going to clean up after that?

That looks similar to one of the abandoned plans for the Black Hole tent. There would have been two of them in there with a light show I think.

A ride based on making whisky? Seems interesting! :p

Where is this? Here! :D

That would appear to be a very similar transit system to that used for Little Monsters' Den of Mischief at Flamingoland. The ride as a whole doesn't look any more exciting though!

As long as it doesn't stink of farts, it will be at least sixteen times better.

Technical Park, the company who would have been responsible for manufacturing the Duelling Deadstar concept that Merlin Studios created for X-Sector before SW7 have come up with a different take on the Gerstlauer Sky Roller / Fly and Zamperla Air Race...

It's new for 2013. I wonder who will go for one first? It looks like it could be a better buy over a Gerst as the problem with their model is that the arms rise up and down a middle tower which means it can't be themed, whereas this can have theming placed on the arm and have more on the top of it too.

It looks great and what I love about these rides is how a thrill seeker can go nuts on one and someone who might not want a mad ride can glide gently along and still have a nice time.

:)

Yes! :D
I may be a fan of Enterprise, but that would be a more than worthy replacement to make up for it's loss. :D
