That one Illegal World of Warcraft Park in China

Now I'm not a fan of the game World of Warcraft myself, and I'm sure many of you aren't here either. But recently it came to my attention that a park has opened in China based on the franchise, without any of Blizzard's (the company owning the franchise) permission.

According to IGN, the park cost $48 Million dollars, and features an "intense flying coaster" to boot among more child friendly areas based of the "Mists of Pandaria" Expansion pack. Apparently.

Nothing that special, wonder how long it will last. It'd be a shame to see such a park shut down though. Just thought I'd share.

Well it's been open three years, and hasn't seen any problems- to my knowledge. It didn't open with the World of Warcraft theme, though, instead it was a bit of a Disney ripoff (well, a huge amount, almost as controversial as the WoW theme now- seriously, they had Disney logos and everything). It's probably because Blizzard (or Disney, for that matter) have never heard of it, as even a lot of enthusiasts haven't, that it hasn't had legal troubles. And yes, this is the Starry Sky Ripper, which is probably the best B&M flyer layout. Here's a POV for those of you who haven't seen this:



And, yep, the park looks absolutely stunning, despite the issues it may have.
