So firstly, the winner of 3 points from our first 'Random Roller Coaster' was indeed @Rob correctly guessing everybody's favourite and northern most Gerstlaur Infinity Coaster and previous president of the European Commission, Jean-Claude Jun(c)ker! This also brings the top of the leader board to a very close 1pt difference, so every correct guess counts.
Now for the main event... Delays Delays. A million apologies.
So here we go, Round 5 - its the great American Stand Off
Layout 1

Layout 2

Layout 3

Layout 4

Layout 5

Layout 6

Layout 7

Layout 8

Layout 9

Layout 10

And there we have it, a huge range of layouts this week with a bumper amount of maximum points, a whopping 38!! So let the guessing commence! You have until 9pm Friday to account for this evenings delays.

Well, another successful week I have to say. Answers and results coming up shortly, taking some working out!
However, in the mean time, have another category!!
Week 6: Family
Yes, we’re going back to where most of us started with theme parks, with the family!! This week, I want your best and most obscure family coasters. Now this is a broad topic and open to interpretation, so it’s going to be one of the most difficult so far, so to limit it slightly, I’m saying coasters no higher than 150ft only! However is it family, is it family thrill... that’s down to you! Enjoy
Andddddd. The results are in!! A deceivingly tricky week this week it has to be said, with some coasters only being guessed by one person each and one other, not actually being correctly guessed at all!
I’ll hold my hands up and admit to being super evil this week, drawing both an indoor layout (2) and a defunct coaster (6). However @Rob was also equally cunning, opting for one of Six Flags past properties with layout (4) only correctly guessed by @Brad97. Meanwhile Brad himself was I’d say equally evil, layout 5... Was it Six Flags, was it Cedar Fair?! As well as Layout 8, which I’m not certain, but I believe it may have been cunningly rotated to make it appear to be something else, which worked as everybody opted for its counterpart. As for @Burbs two coasters that were both almost but not quite clones. Just evil.
So the answers are as follows, with the scores just below in order of submission!
Layout 1 - Leviathan, Canada’s Wonderland - Drawn by, Matt N
Layout 2 - Wonder Mountains Guardian, Canada’s Wonderland - Drawn by, Sammy
Layout 3 - Pandemonium, Six Flags New England - Drawn by, Burbs
Layout 4 - Loup Guru, Six Flags (Wallibi) Belgium - Drawn by, Rob
Layout 5 - Flash: Vertical Velocity, Six Flags Discovery Kingdom - Drawn by, Brad97
Layout 6 - Viper, Six Flags Great Adventure - Drawn by, Sammy
Layout 7 - Raging Bull, Six Flags Great America - Drawn by, Matt N
Layout 8 - Twisted Timbers, Kings Dominion - Drawn by, Brad97
Layout 9 - Zach’s Zoomer, Michigan’s Adventure - Drawn by, Burbs
Layout 10 - Quicksilver Express, Gilroy Gardens - Drawn by, Rob
And the scores,
Burbs - 16
Matt N - 2
Brad97 - 17
Rob - 19
Tom was this weeks first past the post as well as being the only person to get them in within 24 hours! So well done. However in this case, slow and steady did win the race, congratulations to Rob you are this weeks winner and now at the top of the leaderboard!!

Well, what a particularly horrible week this has been, no high scoring anywhere I’m afraid!
So the answers are as follows
Layout 1: Octonauts - Alton Towers, drawn by Matt N
Layout 2: Drage Kongen - Djurs Sommerland, drawn by Sammy
Layout 3: Kamelen - Tivoli Gardens, drawn by Rob
Layout 4: Camel a coaster - Enakyo Wonderland, drawn by Burbs
Layout 5: Grand Canyon - Fraispertuis City, drawn by Brad97
And the points in order of submission
Burbs - 3
Rob - 6
Brad97- 6
That’s all I have to say of this particularly evil week, though one thing I will say is, I don’t think it will be the most evil...
As for next week, we are onto Round 7 and I bring you:
WOOD!
Yes thats it, we are going old school this week. However, once again this is a two layout week, I want two layouts from each of you, one from either of the two front runners, that’s either GCI or GravityGroup and the other one from somebody else! (That’s your chance to get evil with things!
Good luck everybody, Monday 5:30pm deadline please! Thank you for your participation in our ritual

Delays delays delays.
Apologies, one has been out this evening. Results shall be calculated tomorrow morning and posted shortly after.
However in the mean time, have a new category.
Plenty of easy points available this week
Week 8:

Well well. What a week it’s been! The most layouts so far and I would say deceivingly difficult, thanks to a lot of cunning entries from a number of people! Yes that’s right, I’m looking at you two with your demolished coasters Brad & Rob!
Anyway, no further faffing, onto the answers:
Layout 1 - Wildcat, Hershey Park. Drawn by, Burbs
Layout 2 - Montezum, Hopi Hari. Drawn by, MattyH
Layout 3 - Hercules, Dorney Park. Drawn by, Brad97
Layout 4 - Magnus Colossos, Tera Mitica. Drawn by, Burbs
Layout 5 - Rennagade, Valley Fair. Drawn by, Matt N
Layout 6 - Great Desert Rally, Happy Valley Chengdu. Drawn by, Sammy
Layout 7 - InvadR, Busch Gardens Williamsburg. Drawn by, Brad97
Layout 8 - Wildfire, Kolmarden. Drawn by, Sammy
Layout 9 - High Roller, Valleyfair. Drawn by, Matt N
Layout 10 - Ozark Wildcat, Celebration City. Drawn by, Rob
Layout 11 - Thundercoaster, TusenFryd. Drawn by, Sammy
Layout 12 - Wooden Warrior, Quassy Amusement Park. Drawn by, MattyH
Layout 13 - Boardwalk Bullet, Kemah Boardwalk. Drawn by, Sammy
Layout 14 - Nightmare, Joyland. Drawn by, Rob
As you will notice, I have a slight confession to make. I submitted 4 coasters... Not 2 However, as a good will gesture, most of you identified two of them as being drawn by me and said the other two were drawn by just one other person. This, I’ll award you the points for that!
So the results are as follows
@Burbs - 11
@Rob - 36
@Brad97 - 24
@MattyH - 4
A big well done to Rob, while not getting full marks. He did however guess every coaster correctly Putting him in a slight runaway lead now! So let’s see what this week brings!

So having received all this weeks answers mega early in the week, I kind of totally forgot to post them last night
Apologies.
A good week I’d say, congratulations to Rob on being a massive geek and scoring full marks!
Onto the answers;
Layout 1 - Lynet, Fårup Sommerland. Drawn by, Matt N
Layout 2 - Anubis: The Ride, Plopsaland De Panne. Drawn by, Burbs
Layout 3 - Tiki Waka, Walibi Belgium. Drawn by, Brad97
Layout 4 - Spinning Coaster, Infunity. Drawn by, Rob
Layout 5 - Rattenmühle, Familypark. Drawn by, Sammy
And now for the scores;
@Rob - 22 points
@Brad97 - 10 points
@Burbs - 4 points
@Matt N - 2 points
Well done all, so now for next weeks category. It’s the first of a two parter so if you’re super clever, you can probably guess what next week will be
So Week 9 brings
THE AMERICAS - Central & South
That’s right, I want a coaster from anywhere in Central or South America!
Good luck all!
