Even Blackpool looks better

Not going to lie, this looks like an absolutely appalling effort. Absolutely terrible.

I have to agree, it's Terrible
So you enter the dungeons and exit from the charlie building (un-changed themeing on the right)
Alton do like their wooden fences, I'm surprised that they haven't started to sell off cuts of that too in the shops
That strange mist you get in scarefest mazes...you didn't breath it in did you?The more I see it the more I like it
What's wrong with me!?

It looks like something an independent park would have erected in the 80s/90s. Whether that's a good or bad thing is down to perception.
Personally I think they've probably half-assed a needless addition to the park.

It looks like a standard, present day Merlin midway through and through to me. Alton Towers was an independent park in the early 80s and we got Around The World's exterior, still much better than this. Doom & Sons was a really cool exterior. It looks like something an independent park would have erected in the 80s/90s. Whether that's a good or bad thing is down to perception.
The only slightly redeeming thing about this exterior is it looks so bad you can only hope it's meant to be temporary? And that the Dungeon will be a 5 year thing at most? Dunno

It’s not as terrible as some people are suggesting but it isn’t exactly good. Particularly as they have left some Charlie theming to the left of the building.
It may be wishful thinking but it does look a bit like a temporary facade has been placed over the existing building. I suspect the attraction is intended to be relatively short lived, the scenes are not exactly going to be hard to remove and the boat ride was already there and can remain for a future project.
Please please please let this be the case!
