Pretty sure York do that too.I notice at Blackpool on quiet days the actors will move around within it, so you may get the same actor from the first room in the last room in a different costume, etc. Towers could do that if they are low on staff.
Problem is actors could be amazing, but I’m not paying £5 a visit to do a fairly average dungeons, when I could go elsewhere and do it for free.
Oh I know what you mean and believe me we didn’t plan to do it again until at least scarefest. I can understand why they’ve put on the charge but I don’t think it’s proving that popular because the park was very busy, yet we just walked straight up without a pre booked time slot.
Of course it's not. The parking plus entrance fee is enough as it is. Not to forget the ridiculously short opening hrs. Most people won't want to waste an hour in there. I certainly wouldn't.
If you visit 10 times or more a season then I could see why you may do it. Vast majority of people only go once or maybe twice a year. Why would they want to lose an hr doing a dungeon when there are 10 coasters etc?

A lot of the people who do visit so regularly are probably MAP holders too, and if they think anything like me "eh, I'll wait until it's 'free' next year and a rainy day".
Staff cuts already ?
Not seen the wise woman after the boat ride since open week.
Always the projection map head in a stick.
I am yet to do the Dungeon.
It does raise the question of how long will it last. In this case, one season.I’ve done it twice and have not paid for it, and won’t either.
Was that desperate for people to do it the other week we were asked if we wanted to do it free to fill the group when we walked past.
And Ryan there is the offload host and then the wise woman, who then talks to the talking head.
