I found this site. Not the best HTML code wise but has some odd SFX from alton towers http://www.tussaudsmedia.co.uk/teaser/audio/alton/index.php It also has the proper Oblivion theme, not the silly one on towerstimes... :/

This site is great, the music is in significantly higher quality than I've heard from any other sources. You can actually make out the Latin words in the Hex intro such is the clarity

Does anyone know where I can get the Nemesis station audio, Like when it says "NEMESIS! It may be chained but still untameable" and things like that?

Wow downloading The Smiler font you can see some examples provided and looks like they've taken the entire colour scheme from it also...

Yellow is just the right colour for this ride, imagine it in green or any other colour.

edit: I may have accidentally made the people green to, my bad.

IMAscore (composers of Krake and the newer Blue Fire audio) were the creators of The Smiler music. They have finally posted an excerpt of the 75 minute score for those who may wish to hear it.

I don't think any of the announcements without background audio have been released unfortunately.

I wish they'd just upload the POV, there's still no proper mounted POV! I find that incredible given the scale and media coverage of the project.

Oh dear, I was expecting something to sound similar but I'm pretty sure that's the actual Air theme chopped up a bit. Either the creator of that track is very lazy, or the background ambience of the Air theme is just a royalty sample.

That really is Air's music! It doesn't even just 'sound similar', they've sampled the actual track.

It is quite common for media work, to buy in samples to chop up and use for speed.

Also, it is possible they have both used the same synthesizer setting, it could be a stock bank preset. It is very easily possible for one synth to play that entire theme you hear in the background. Very easy. It sounds like a simple arpeggio to me.

I am not sure it is the actual music though, here is the guy who produced it by the way:

After reading more I really doubt this dude used a sample. I still stand by a possible synth setting though. It is quite a basic sound to scuplt.

But idiotic for flying it when rides are in operation. And how close it came to some of the rides including Oblivion and Spinball.

It's an amazing spectacle but is an outright danger to the public and guests on park and should not be condoned, especially considering how busy the firework days get :/.

Some TSTers saw that copter in xsector and it went very close to The Smiler, I'm no health and safety buff but who ever flew this thing is a class A idiot.

Myself, Alastair, Elly and Russ saw that fly over and around the area while we were stood in queue for Oblivion. It flew pretty close to Oblivion's brake run, and from the video, far far too close to the top of Sonic Spinball's lift.

Alton towers need to be more careful about who/what they let through the turnstiles.

Once one idiot does something, others will follow.

They can't really prevent people who fly one in from outside of the park though as it wouldn't be practical. Whoever made this video sent their quadcopter thing over from Farley lane, outside of the park and out of view of security / staff.
