Tomorrow see the first day of Nottingham Goose Fair 2025. Aside from the multitude of Waltzers and Dodgems there's a very good selection thrill rides, including the Top Scan and Aerospace from Barry Island, Huss Magic from Fantasy Island and Matthews Skyfall Drop Tower.

Danter's Air is attending for the first time in 10 years years as well.

King Loops is back too, Went on it today and for £5 got a 6 minute ride, admittedly it nearly killed off my partner but the 5 consecutive flips while spinning around was very intense, Star Gate was back too and although I do love it , I have to admit it was making a lot of rattly noises which was a little disconcerting lol. Air was £8 and I honestly expected more from it, from the ride we got, other than the height it was actually quite tame in experience. Skyfall was fantastic and the views were brilliant too.

How much was Skyfall just out of curiosity.

I don’t know the reason behind Air removing its 5th seat on each row, but I agree. It just doesn’t seem to have the “umph” anymore!

They were removed during its refurbishment a few years back, I think it was done in order to put less stress on the arm by reducing the weight.

The inside seats on Air were always a bit pants anyway, it's no great loss. I got to ride this new version at Ealing Common a few months ago, and it was still a very fun ride, even if it felt tame compared to how they run it at Tilburg.

Skyfall was £8 yesterday afternoon. Most big rides were between £5-£6. With the giant boosters £10.

The Top Scan and Time Machine were being run on good manual cycles. I opted to watch rather than ride!

I went on Skyfall last night, was £10 then, didn't know they altered the prices.

Loved the slow ride up, the views were great when it was going dark.
