The Future of Skyride

Yeah, if I am correct they are driven from the FV station and it uses the same motor for both
I’m pretty sure it’s two separate motors, just that the rails the gondolas travel on once off the ropes connect the incoming of one to the outgoing of the other.

Two separate systems, but with links from one to the other for gondolas that can’t be reconfigured.

I’m so glad no one will be moaning about this next year and free up other moaning space, unless it does a hex after 2 days God forbid I will be turning my phone off.

You must be joking, there's a whole new way to moan about it; fastpass queues, sharing gondolas and grimy windows to name but a few
And it makes me lament about social media even more about how it doesn't helps the park in no way and instead is the secret 10th level of Hell putting up with budget cuts, angry fans, lacklustre rides, poor hotels and ops, terrible food and fans who seem to disturbingly seem to find joy (the only type) to seeing a declining park and all sorts.

I know no place is perfect but God you'd think what Merlin had done was considered crimes against humanity which come on, really? I honestly wonder why I torture myself with these people who are all starting to live rent free in my head with their negativity that I'm trying to find the damn sedatives.

OK that got dark.

It appears that the Skyride has been testing during the Christmas event!

I'm glad AT are at least getting Skyride operational for the next season, speaking as a person with relatives with mobility issues, it's good to see Skyride getting closer to operational status for the transport of people within the park. As it can make both getting to point A to B easier for people with mobility issues and making paths less clogged.

If you think this is bad don't enter the Disney socials.

Now THAT is insanity.

Coming to terms with a personal mobility issue is difficult enough without the mickey taking thank you.

Agreed - could we please leave out personal jibes? I know banter is banter and all, but particularly so where they relate to people's individual circumstances in a negative manner. Let's keep on the subject of the Skyride and not continually poking fun at members. Thanks!

Look, I'm just glad Skyride is going to be operational this season, not just for myself being lazy to walk around the park (And admittable admire the sights from Skyride) but for people with mobility issues Skyride is critical.
After all, the park is large and walking around it with mobility issues can be a killer.
