The I Feel Down Topic.

I feel kinda down as I have no one to spend NYE with, it's Mums Birthday so don't want to ruin it for her, I don't fancy sleeping on a floor with loads of other people, apparently it's difficult getting to Liverpool and someone doesn't like NYE and gets mardy, but I also can't stand being stuck in the house it drives me insane and I usually end up in a right state. It's because I'm rural, all my friends have moved away with work and uni and I can't make friends at work as I'm the only person in the office most days and the only girl at my place of work. I can't wait for the day I move to a city and get a new life. Also I'm having to get a new car as my current one needs loads of work doing to it and it's drinking about £30 worth of oil in a average month.

Natalie that sounds just like me I work with a couple of other guys but they want to be friends and hardly ever speak anyways. I have nothing to do NYE all my friends have moved or are working and I hate staying at home an same as you normally end up in a state :(

On days off I can NOT stay in the house doing nothing , I end up getting really down. I'm starting to get insane just from the last 2 days! Can't cope without seeing someone who isn't family or a family friend in the next few days, I need to get out. I am also not one for going to a club getting really drunk and a) not remembering anything or b) throwing up so I can't socialise that way. Where I live it's too quiet and everyone knows everyone in my village plus all the people I grew up with have managed to escape this hell hole. I just get really lonely sometimes that I have to travel at least 45 mins to see people off this forum to either Nottingham or Sheffield. I don't really have many people apart from the people off here, part of it's my own fault because I'm not a party animal but then again the people I trusted and grew up with are at least a couple of hours away and have their own lives now.

It is NOT your own fault you are an individual with your own personality! Remember, if we were all the same, we would be boring! Think about it. If Sam and Meat Pie and Blaze and me etc were all the same, nothing like differences of opinion would occur and life would be VERY boring. Think about a life with NO variation, I would HATE it!

You're not. You're friendly, kind, fun, easy to talk to, geeky, intelligent, witty and cute. But terrible? No, sorry. :)

Nawwwwww, seriously thanks Sam, it means a lot. :D

Nope, quite the opposite mate, even though I have only known you for a short period of time, relatively speaking, it is clear to see you are kind, friendly, fun loving and intelligent guy! But certainly, by no means terrible boyo :)

Probably going to have to put the pet rabbit down; taking her to the vets whenever possible because she appears to have broken her leg. Doubt they'll be able to do much for her. It's not that long since the other one died, and they're not that old.

So sad when you have to do that we thing are rabbit that we rescued will have to be put down her back leg seems to be going :(

Still dreading chinese for one tomorrow night, wanted to go to Manchester today but no one wanted to, they were too busy or didn't have the money. So today I've not been a happy bunny and got myself all worked up as usual being stuck in the house, it's seriously not good for me!

Another new years eve seen in watching crappy distant fireworks through a car windsreen waiting for the chaos to begin. Such deep joy.

Stop feeling sorry for yourself Nat! You've been invited places for New Years so you should have gone out there and celebrated!! You weren't even on your own at home, you at least had Dolly! :)
Just because Wilsy doesn't celebrate New Years, doesn't mean you couldn't still have fun!

Also, sometimes people just cant afford to do things, it isn't the end of the world! It's that time of year when everybody is poor! You can't be doing something every single second of every single day, so just forget about it and be happy! =]

Ps. Just because you didn't say 'Wilsy' doesn't mean that people don't know what you're talking about, haha! :p

I can't help that I have a phobia and also it isn't as easy as say it is for you because I don't live in a city or close to one! You have no idea what it's like to live in the countryside so I would like to see you try it for a bit.

From my experience and my cousins (who used to live in ipstones in a farm house, then moved to london) city's can be more lonely then countryside.

Ellie is right, you shouldn't take it personally and you shouldn't take it as an insult. ;)

Sent from my phone using Tapatalk, please excuse any ridiculous mistakes!

I used to live more out in the countryside than you Nat, 45 minutes away from the nearest co-op, or even a roundabout or traffic lights! And I still managed to have a really good time at new year :) I prefer celebrating new year in the countryside, as cities are just too crazy.

Loneliness. 2011 was a poor year lost loads of friends. 2012 was a poor year lost loads of friends... Hoping this trend doesn't keep going into 2013. All I want is someone to talk to :(
I know how you feel, since June I have lost 65% of my friends :(

Hey, don't think about the bad! Think about the good! How many new friends have you made, and how many memories do you have from lost friends? Don't dwell on what has happened, just try and be happy, jump onto the other side of the grass, It's Greener ;)

If it does happen again, just try to make the most of life! :)

I lived in the countryside, a bus one a day if we were lucky(not on sunday, bank holidays or new years). 10min walk to the stop. I now lived in a town with no cinema, club you leave at 11pm or face getting attacked. and you had to travel 20 odd miles to get to a decent night out.

I have seen true urban people move here, and move on as they cant stick a rural type life.

But on the other hand. Boy were the Young Farmers do's great. No one else for 7 miles, Big speakers and big noise :D
