The latest project I am involved in outside of Theme Parks and Work, is setting up a new junior golf coaching program to try and encourage more junior golfers. Not something I have made, but something I am helping to make happen. If we are friends are Facebook, I will already of sent you an invite to join the page, sorry for the spam.
The biggest challenge I have with Annabelle is that she wants to play with other girls her own age, and there is not many in South Yorkshire, so we end up travelling down to London every other weekend where she can play with 9-12 other girls in her age category. This has been a fantastic experience for her, and she has made so many new friends from this, but when we move to 18 holes next year, its not going to be practical to do every other weekend. (You can follow Annabelle's golfing adventures here: https://www.instagram.com/belles_golfing)
To try and help solve this issue, I have been working with Annabelle's coach to setup a new junior coaching scheme, called the US Kids Golf Player Pathway Program. The idea behind this is to keep it fun, safe, create new friendship and helping to develop a passion for golf that lasts a life time. Like with swimming lessons, this program has ten levels. As you progress through the levels, you get pin badges for each skill you develop, and a master pin when you pass the level. Helping the kids feel they are getting their rewards and allowing the parents to track the progress.
If you have read this far, thanks, and if you want to follow how this project goes, feel free to follow and like the pages below (It also helps with getting more people to like and follow the page as well) as I will be posting more details every couple of days and then posting about the progress after the program starts. First session is 4th November, and Annabelle and Daisy can not wait to see what level they currently are, and to start earning those pin badges.

Drew/painted these little Hex things in a double art lesson I had. I’ve virtually never used watercolours before, and when I did I didn’t like them, but now I’m a little older I think I get them now. They add a quick splash of colour and makes previously disinteresting sketches a lot more exiting. I still have a lot to learn, but I’m liking the results a lot already!
