The Smiler - General Discussion

It's been confirmed the smiler won't be opening today. That's 5 days now. I'm sure towers would've hoped to have it available again by this weekend however that's looking very unlikely now

You say this, but every ride will have a day where it suddenly opens after it's been closed. Nothing indicates it won't be tomorrow. It might not be, but Mixtape just opened again after the same amount of time closed.

Mixtape was closed at opening time today after being closed for 3 days, but opened a little later. Smiler could be the same today, tomorrow or next week. We just have to wait. :)

Smiler isn't opening today towers confirmed on twitter. It could open tommorow but I'm not sure as they could be waiting for a part or something. It's clearly a significant issue and we'll see if they're able to get it resolved by tommorow

We'll be heading to X-Sector first - we always start with The Smiler and then do the others in the area at Scarefest - so we'll be doing Oblivion, Enterprise and Mixtape regardless. I'll post on this forum if I can regarding its status tomorrow.
 
Apparently Gertslauer have been on site today and The Smiler was testing with its water dummies for a few hours - looks like its a comment from someone on park. How accurate this is, I don't know.

Yes, but that's only speculation. You'll only know if it's testing if you're actually on park.

This person was on park, its a comment under a post which says something along the lines of "it was testing with the water dummies and then there were no signs of life after" and another one said something like "Gertslauer were there earlier hope it's not too serious". You're correct that it's all speculation, but these are two different people, so who knows.
