That's a good question actually. I wouldn't have thought so given its nearly week-long closure, as it would give guests the impression that it is open.

I was hoping to take it as an early hint when we walk into X Sector tomorrow, if it's not been playing and is tomorrow morning, we'll probably wait about for it. With a RAP guest tomorrow so we usually take the lift in the shop, if the audio isn't playing we'll probably go wait by Oblivion instead.

I'd assume that the lift would be blocked off/out of use when Smiler is closed, so if it is in use tomorrow morning you might be in luck.

It’s always locked in a morning anyway we have to ask a shop assistant to get the key to unlock it, so it probably won’t help too much. We’ll probably be able to tell if it’s opening or not based on if it’s testing or not in the morning but I’ll try and log on here and confirm - I’ll be pushing a wheelchair most of the day so might not be able toI'd assume that the lift would be blocked off/out of use when Smiler is closed, so if it is in use tomorrow morning you might be in luck.
How can it be speculation that a ride was testing? They've either seen trains going round the track or they haven't
Monday and Wednesday it certainly was. Basically felt like we were being taunted by it..
No signs of activity on those days either (aside from normal pre opening checks and the first and unfortunately final ride of midweek..
Fingers crossed the rumours of people on site are true and they get it back up and running as normal tomorrow.

Well, I'll be finding out in a few hours, here's hoping the problem has been sorted, I think they'll be needing it open to cope with crowd levels today, I can imagine it being a major blow every day from this point onwards that it doesn't open.

Fast passes are available today on the app for the smiler. Hoping that’s a sign it’s opening.
It's been available every day it was shut too, the only way we'll know is the app in just over an hours time

Ah bummer, sorry mate.
Smiler's issue is just terrible timing. If it is, say, down a month (not saying it will be), that wouldn't have been the end of the world back in May or whenever.
During Scarefest though? Nightmare for Towers as it's probably their most popular ride down during their busiest period.

No music yesterday (Fri 15th) that I could hear. X-Sector just felt so quiet without The Smiler running.
Didn't see any activity around the ride hinting at any fixing going on (but most of it is hidden), but The Simler operators where all dress up in uniform helping out on Spinball Wizzer. Did feel sorry for them since heard two GP asking when The Smiler was going to open & insisting they knew
.Been closed did highlight how much of a crowd/queue muncher it is going by all the queue times throughout the park. Especially when you realize the only other 'intense' inverting coaster is Nemisis.

Wasn't too bad yesterday, Nemisis & Oblivian seems to take the biggest hits. Wicker Man was pretty much normal for busy day even thou extended queue line running.
