They would have to look at securing the centre of the park again if it was direct line. If a path tight to the side of the towers then it could be done.

I don't think it does... If I visit the park in 2018 and have a great day with my friends and family, why does it need to be different the following year when we return?A major park has to offer something new and exciting every year,be it a new parade, show, rollercoaster or whatever...
Capital investment is one of the key aspects of any successful theme park, it attracts repeat custom. Thankfully this is one of the few things that Merlin recognises.I don't think it does... We've been tenpin bowling three Friday nights on the bounce... everything is exactly the same - why is a park different?
The notion that they have to add a new attraction is something that the parks have done to themselves and they have to do it because it's expected, rather than because it's needed. In the 80s and 90s when they were very much in the ascendancy it made sense, now I really don't get wht it does.

I'm not disputing that is the general consensus now - I was questioning if it's one of those bizarre things that has become a thing when it shouldn't.Capital investment is one of the key aspects of any successful theme park, it attracts repeat custom. I think all parks should strive to *improve* year-on-year. Whether that's new rides, like Merlin, or general upkeep, like Phantasia and EP, doesn't matter, but things should at least show some care and attention. Unfortunately, Merlin seem stuck on rides being the only way to improve, when they could have refreshed Katanga Canyon (for example) instead. I do wonder how much longer this strategy will work for them, before they have to do something about other areas in the park
I don't think having a new attraction every year is backward at all, it's a good thing! However, that's not to say that existing rides and areas should go unloved.
Yeah I know six flags have rights to use it but not sure if that includes Europe.
They used them when they had European properties but I am not sure what that agreement looks like now (as in, if they were covered by an existing agreement or if a new one was signed).Yeah I know six flags have rights to use it but not sure if that includes Europe.
I would imagine it would prove costly for AT
