Depends on how they're being used, which countries copyright laws he's invoking, and the countries where the content being used originates. For editorial of other people's content, this would generally be fine regardless of US or UK copyright laws. For use as stock footage whilst talking about a ride or park, this would typically not be fine, especially with UK copyright.I know it’s off topic but is Expedition Theme Park! allowed to use segments of other people’s videos on his channel without their permission?
Some people allow this type of use for 'exposure' or because they couldn't care less. Other people understand exposure doesn't pay the bills, or take a general dislike to someone profiting off their work.
Coincidentally, I believe this is an area where TPW are very good in not using other people's content, except for park produced promotional material.

I cannot cope with Expedition Theme Park's odd intonation. He speaks like no one else does and I really don't get why.
It sort of reminds me of the way presenters speak on that tv show A place in the sun.

I just seen there Gt Yarmouth vlog and I never laughed so much. Good to see his parents still enjoying the rides and Charlotte on the floor in the fun house

He is. I am pretty sure it falls well within the dark and murky waters of fair use.

You did indeed. However the point I was making was that if he did not credit the videos, he still wouldnt have any problems for the most part, as they would fall under fair use. The nature of the videos he makes and they way he uses other peoples videos means he can fairly use them without giving credit. Credit is good though as it is in good taste. But you do not have to do it, you will not get a copyright strike. Anyway, I think this is for another topic lol.

Fair use usually applies if he is commenting/critiquing the video itself, or more of a grey area if using clips to fill a documentary. Usually the rule is it has to be an excerpt (not just playing the entire video/image) and it has to be used in a way that doesn't take revenue from the owner of the footage.
(UK government guidance)
For example all the YouTubers that downloaded that Alton Towers British Pathe video, fair use doesn't really apply because British Pathe make their revenue by licencing that video for documentaries, news reports etc. By just using it without a licence you're taking their revenue. They can ask for those clips to be removed, or put adverts on the video by YouTube automatically.
But if it's from a source that doesn't make its revenue by licencing the media, then it's fine as long as only excerpts are used. For example you can't watch a movie by watching clips in a movie review, you still have to go to the movie, so you're not taking any revenue there.
But still it's always good practice to ask first and give credit (or a link to the source). After all a channel like Expedition Theme Park is making a lot of money off just compiling clips online and reading Wikipedia, it's the least he can do to ask and play nice.

Does anyone know what the intro music is for Expedition Theme Parks videos? I can't help being stuck with humming it sometimes it's so catchy!

I assume she has been Furloughed. On a completely different note, has Charlotte given up her day job for TPW does anyone know as she is appearing in a lot of vlogs which annual leave wouldn’t cover. Just curious

I think I remember her saying she was a key worker in one of the vlogs.I assume she has been Furloughed.

She works in Sainsbury's so I doubt she's been furloughed. Wouldn't surprise me if she's quit to go full time with Shawn, as it's just the two of them now he'll need the company.I assume she has been Furloughed.

She still works as I watched all the uk vlogs she’s only been in half of them as
Shawn done on his own 12 vlogs
With Charlotte 11 vlogs
And his doing them on his own this week.

I assume she gets 2 days off a week and they aren't going on long holidays except the Europe one so I guess you do them over a weekend or the two days you get off.
I did like the old style Virginia Reel like ride at Joyland.
Got to say unlike Shawn don't think I would be able to get super excited by all the tiny little amusement parks he's going to now. But with Covid-19 restrictions I guess he's got to make the best of it. I'm not wishing I had gone to DLP earlier instead of booking for September and then having to cancel.

He's going to the smaller parks to support them, not just because he wants to visit. Got to give him credit for that.I assume she gets 2 days off a week and they aren't going on long holidays except the Europe one so I guess you do them over a weekend or the two days you get off.
