I'd say it's more a pain in the ****, time consuming and expensive to have to disassemble, move, reassemble and inspect a coaster train each time it valleys, rather than bad press.I'm going to presume that the park were not willing to risk having the ride valley and it being closed for the following day or two and then open on reduced capacity for a couple of days.
I'd say it is a strategic decision as another valley could risk it coming out and bad press for Hyperia which is not needed when the ride has been the most reliable as it's ever been since the last valley.
Especially as the spotlight in the enthusiast community is on Top Thrill 2 and whether that lasts more than a week this time.
