Apparently it's been confirmed that Thorpe has lost Saw's IP, so they've got to re-theme it. Do we think they'll go for a similar theme or something completely different?

The theming is too run down for it to be re-themed to anything upbeat without some serious money being spent on it.

They don’t mention anything about this on their blog post from last week... it’s reason number 5 of 20 to visit in 2020!

when it eventually does go it wouldn’t be hard to remove the IP, the only real IP specific parts of the theme are the doll and the video content. Remove them and change the signs and you have generic spooky mill theme (or drag another horror IP in)

Indeed, it is easy to see how they could re-work it if and when the IP does expire. Derren Brown's Waste of Money Train on the other hand....!

I think it was reffered to as 'The Old Mill' at an event somewhere, post Saw - which would make sense.

I didn't go on it last season, has he appeared in the ride itself now? Revised pre-show (or removal of?) would leave it as the Desmond Brown Disappointment Express.
