Has duel changed enough to be worth avoiding spoilers?
I hope they are able to find a solution
It's only so unentertaining because it's been so detrimentally fiddled with for 20 years, then had years in limbo as the patchwork attraction it's become.I have little love for Duel anyway
A slight tangent, but Cloud Cuckoo Land - wtf?!
As a combination of TLC and ride mothballing, there is now nothing there but a carousel, the Froghopper, and the driving school. Even the 4D cinema has gone!
To me, this shows a real contempt for younger guests . It used to be that bigger members of our family could go to Dark Forest while the smaller members could spend a good hour and a half in Cloud Cuckoo Land. Now, it's literally pointless. It would have made more sense to have moved the little they do have there elsewhere, to at least provide some options for families in other parts of the park.

Is it less contempt or them putting all their eggs in cbeebies land? I have never been in there since I don't have young children and don't ever feel the need. Personally I think at the age you grow out of Cbeebies you'll at least like WM or Spinball. Could even brave Air/Galactica.
Talking of childrens rides, i'm thinking of taking up a friend and her 5 year old son (nearly 6), who hasnt been on a coaster before and is now past Cbeebies age, so i'm not sure what he will like, so i'm thinking:
Octonauts
Vroomster Ride
Possibly RMT depending how we get on with those two!
Rapids if they are open
Sealife
Driving school
Froghopper
Heave Ho
Carosel
.... but I cant think of much else. Anyone else taken kids of this age got any more ideas, just seems a small amount to get through an entire day in the park....
Ps. Hex and Duel would be too scary for him.
They should move the Resort Box Office to the conservatories in the gardens. At least then more people would get the chance to see them!
