It's a tricky one as Forums is a known term for what this is and visitors didn't know what "talk" refers too. Though we still title the forums Towers Street Talk. Sure Joel will look into the suggestion though :D
 
Probably one of my silly mistakes, but since I changed my picture thingy it appears sideways? Its fine on the laptop, just on my phone. ( I don't use taptalk or anything)
I'll post a picture later if I get a chanse.

Its a known bug of the mod that never seems to have been fixed. So... er... I'm sure you can make do without smilies for the sake of having YouTube integration, and I'll add it to my list of things to maybe fix one day :p
 
I've tried changing us to another mod, and the good news is that it seems to show smileys and videos together.

The other good news is that you don't need to use any BBcode tags anymore, it will automatically link YouTube videos just by posting the URL in the post.

On the flip side, if you want to stop the auto-display of videos etc, you can put your URL in [noembed] .... [/noembed] tags.

Apparently it supports embedding of other stuff automatically too! :p
 
We should make sure that this doesn't break many older posts where people have linked to YouTube videos :)

Any chance of doing the same for photos, so when you post something with a .jpg ending, it automatically puts image tags around it? :)
 
You asked me this ages ago, and I explained then it wouldn't be possible.

It's really not that difficult to click a button to insert an image or type an

You're in luck! The software has automatically dealt with removing the old YouTube tags from old posts, which means the old video links still work as they should. Nothing should be broken :D
 
Good job with the smiley fix. :)

When I was browsing the forum I spotted a error.

The title topic wasn't filling the space available so it cuts of half way through the title.

Just thought I'd tell you. :)
 
Yeah it is because the subject "text box" is only set to 50% width of the post width - which unfortunately can't seem to set higher as some people have more post options on the right (like team members) that would screw up the layout.

Its not really that important to see the reply subject anyway, so don't feel it being cut off is an issue.
 
It's not something that really bothers me, I just saw it and thoughts it was strange because I've never noticed it before. If fixing it will mess some things up then it not really worth fixing.

The SW7 countdown ticker has... well, it's broken!

Edit: It's now disappeared, so I guess you are updating it anyway! Moving onwards!

But, how will I cope not knowing exactly how many weeks, days, hours, minutes and seconds are left until I visit Towers again?!?!
 
It was wildly inaccurate if that was what you were using it for, as they open for February Half Term too ;)

But nonetheless, I'm sure it'll rear its head again somewhere, but for now, it's retired from being shown on every page lol.
 
Tapatalk isn't allowing me to log in on my iPad. It says 'that user doesn't exist'. Any idea why?
