Edit by Craig: Thanks to everyone who came along to the first Chat Q+A session on Thursday evening. It was a little short notice but we were impressed so many of you managed to come along. I know some people may be asking "why have chat when we have a forum?". The answer is it's nice to be able to chat in realtime about forum and site issues, and it means even the little things can be discussed. It's also chance to have a little fun too 
. We're planning on holding these sessions on a regular basis, and I'd encourage as many of you as possible to pop along and have a part in making this community even better

Will you ever launch a guide to international parks, such as travel guides and park guides?
We have no plans at yet, but its a brilliant suggestion, if members want to help we would welcome them and would look at putting them in a special sub forum
Can the '-' Topic return to the Tavern?
Simple answer, No.
We want the tavern to be original humour, there are plenty of other websites to use for general 'internet lols' and it wasnt something we wanted to continue.
Will you move away from the Simple Human forum style?
At present, no we don't plan any major changes to the forum in terms of style or software for the forseeable future. Our main priority was to get a working forum with an established community. For the time being, things seem to be working well and our focus is now firmly on establishing the new site and working on progressing that to completion.
If we have a boobs topic why cant we have a willies or faffs topic in the tavern?
Well lets be fair, the internet has enough porn without us joining in. We decided boobs and pecs were at a PG13 level, where as below the waist was more 18+ and its not really what we are here for. But we will be adding a NSFW tag to the forum description - remember the Tavern does have its own guidelines
Do you have any other sub forums planned?
How about re-naming the sub forums to UK, Europe, World etc rather than Merlin?
We may look to tweaking these as time goes on. When we first started, we wanted the minimum number of forums possible. We've already moved to create an RCT sub forum, so further changes are a possibility. I can't see this as happening for a while yet though whilst we grow.
Will the advent calendar return?
Sadly we don't think so, many of our exclusive images are being used in the weekly TowersStreet Tuesday event, which gives you year round material not just once a year.
Is the flirting abit much in the 'I'll show you mine, you show me yours' topic?
Erm yeah probably, I think it may become two topics in the future but it does risk killing it off, it is something that will be trialled.
Are you going to get a custom Towers Street map?
We have approached a company and are waiting a quote, but at present its still not a certainty. Its not the top of our priorities at present though.
What are your plans for updates on SW7 over closed season?
Certainly not a helicopter! We haven't set anything in stone as yet, but updates will continue on our mini site and across our social media platforms over the closed season.
Will you do special events like the 'private maze' we had on the meet, and how will you organise it?
We would like to hope so! The maze experience was offered to us for free from Alton Towers, which was a really great gesture, and due to the atmosphere they wanted and the knock-on effects of the queue it wasnt possible for every member on the meet to join in.
Having discussed it during the chat, we have said if other opportunities come up we would take them, and then on the day have registered members (and only registered members, not family and friends) do a random number draw.
This seemed to be the fairest way to do it, and allow all our registered members whether regular on meets or brand new to get involved.
Can a 'whos going' topic be started for Fireworks?
AstroDan will launch one soon, launch, firework, get it? Pfft all smoke and no bang you lot
Do you have any international meets planned for 2013?
Not as yet, we will discuss it when the season ends and we wake up post scarefest and fireworks slumber
What are your plans for opening day 2013?
Nothing confirmed as yet, we will of course be there - but for now we need to sleep!
Was the behaviour on Sub:Terra normal for TowersStreet?
No, and its not something we encourage. We never encourage unruly behaviour especially when it may ruin a ride or experience for other guests. However this ride was a take over for TS with no other guests to change the ride for, however on reflection some members hadn't been on Sub:Terra before so in future will rein in this behaviour a little.

Any plans for out of season meets? such as the beach party or attractions and museums?
Nothing as yet, again we are in the busiest part of the season so far. Also these tend to be more social events rather than official meets, but keep looking out for updates
Would you ever become the official fan site for Alton Towers if asked?
Probably not, we like to work with Alton Towers not for them. Also any big changes like that would always be put out for discussion with our members.
We do have a nice relationship with Alton Towers though, such as the maze experience they offered us and its something we like to build upon
Will these Q&A sessions continue and how often?
Looking at the response, certainly yes! We suspect every couple of months will suffice.

To already have over 550 members, with over 220 posts a day is great. Also recognition from Alton Towers so early on is a big plus for us.
