Ah, now that was a fun weekend
I'd not been to BPB since last year's North meet, so it was good to be back.With the exception of only running two trains on Nash, pretty much everything seemed to be running well. The opening hours were extended to 21:00, so a front row PMBO at night, followed by a back row, was a great way to end the day.
I was very impressed with Sandcastle as well. Some fun, if slightly insane slides, wave pool, even a sauna (not hot enough) and steam room (hotter than a pyroclastic surge). The Master Blaster is truely epic, ending with a very steep drop with some crazy airtime.
Ride Count:
PMBO x 4
Nick Streak x 2
Revolution x 2
Blue Flyer x 1
Airbender x 1
Avalanch x 1
Infusion x 1
Dipper x 1
River Caves x 1
Mouse x 1
Steeple (red) x 1
Nash x 1
Valhalla x 1
Breakdance x 4
Highlights:
* Taking Sam's Breakdance cherry.
* Warm weather all weekend.
* Being in an open park,
in the UK, for eleven and a half hours.
* Because of that, having enough time on park to sit back and have a few beers.
* Taking Georgia's Valhalla cherry.
* Big One at night.
* Epic breakfasts.
* Sandcastle.
* Finding the most screwed up B movie ever on the TV saturday night.
* General fun and daftness.
Lowlights:
* Nash on one train per side.
* Bit too busy, but I've seen much worse at Towers... Good excuse to have a pint
Thanks:
* Matt for the lifts, room, company etc.
* Errr... Anyone else I can't think of
Great weekend guys. See you soon
