TST Sandwich Meet: 25-27 August 2012

Had an absolutely amazing time this weekend, shame we couldn't join you all for the Saturday but the day at Drayton and Alton yesterday more than made up for it! It was brilliant to see so many people old and new in the group too, made for a brilliant day!

Positives
- The amazing weather at DMP on Sunday
- Dan and my darling girlfriend's hilarious dancing in G Force's queue line
- Dizzyness inducing drunken barrels fun
- Poor Carla getting absolutely drenched on Pirate Adventure
- Finally finding some very nice food at Drayton!
- An amazing meal at the 'appalling' Colliers
- Oblivion's mist being absolutely epic yesterday
- Nemesis running very very well in the pouring rain
- Serial killer Themepark (yeah we're going to hell for that one!)
- Nice chill out at Frankie and Benny's

Negatives
- The hideous amount of rain on Monday
- The hideous queues at Drayton on Sunday
- Missing out on Saturday!

Thanks to everyone who came along though, as a team it definitely reminded us why we setup TowersStreet in the first place. It's amazing to think we've only been going since June yet still have such a massively successful meet!

I'll get photos up later tonight hopefully, there's not a massive amount but a few memories :). Sadly it looks as though I won't be at North but I'll see you all at Scarefest :D

Such a wonderful meet guys! Seriously! We met new faces! Reunited with past folks! Made new friends! Indulged in epic hillarities!Got Moist! Danced! Rose above the epic sunday crowds! Danced some more! aaaaand showed those dastardly clouds whos boss! moist fun! ;)

so yes, im a soul of few words! so Well done everyone for making this first official TST meet as darn good as it was! :-*

Had a amazing time on Monday even with the heavy rain , I just like to say thanks to the new/old people i met making me and my brother feel welcome we haven't been to a meet up for years and it's nice just to jump back in , sorry for the people i didn't get to speak to i get kinda lost for words with new people i don't know! .

Was a great meet! I didn't really expect to be definitely coming, but I ended up doing Saturday and Monday. :D

Highlights
+ TALKING AND SOCIALIZING.
+ Meeting new people.
+ Talking to people I hadn't before.
+ Going for 2 days!
+ Exploring a strange part of the Towers after Hex.
+ Both days being reasonably quiet.
+ Thus, considerably good ride count.
+ Randomly waving to people throughout both days.
+ Oblivion's insane mist.
+ First time setting foot inside either hotels and getting a tour by our lovely Magrathea. :D
+ Hugs!

Lowlights
- No Rita!
- Not getting to say goodbye to everyone on Monday.
- Looking like a drowned rat in the rain.
- Leaving. :(

Well where to start. This being my first 'real meet' I must say I was nervous, not being in the possession of the best social skills and not being the most confident, but everybody was just lovely, welcoming and open.

Highs
- Meeting everybody
- Managing to stick to my budget
- racking up a great ride count on nemmy on both towers days
- the sheer hilarity of the weekend
- Pirates of Tamworth being so bad it was good
- breivik, nuff said
- learning a lot about the park that i didn't already know
- helping a certain short person during the hex video
- finally conquering my fear of drop towers
- dayton being hilarious

Lows
- unmotivated drayton staff
- Monday weather
- there not being a real Monday goodbye
- my nemmy model breaking (but was replaced)
- standing in the rain at uttox for ages
- the poor boy at splash on Monday who scolded himself :/

Thanks to Mark for driving and rooms etc. And thank you to everybody that put up with me in some respect over the three days :D
 
Good meet was good.

Highlights
- First TST Meet
- Pretty good weather (Excluding Monday)
- Meals weren't bad
- The guy on Rapids saved the ducklings
- Reasonable ride count
- Poccy
- Drunken Barrels with Badgy (He sure does love his spinning rides)
- Meeting Georgia, Lottie, Jem and Carla
- Sub-Terra was actually OK on one of the runs.

Low lights
- Weather on Monday
- Joelio
