Universal Epic Universe - New Florida Theme Park

Something I loved in the book but the film skipped over was all the bizarre parts of the fight at the ministry because of the strange magical experiments being conducted there. This is what I'd love to see this ride focus on, and not just death eaters firing coloured lights at the vehicle. I want to see the depths of the department of mysteries, especially the time room, they could do something incredible with that.

Credit to Universal they did manage to capture the book details (that didn't make the films) well with Diagon Alley, so I can see them taking this approach here.

I know it’s impossible to say, but does anyone - based on experience of Universal or major park expansions - know how optimistic or pessimistic I should be about getting on these 4 attractions in one day in Sept 2025:

-Stardust racers
-Isle of berk rollercoaster
-ministry of magic
-Curse of the werewolf

Should I be worried about even getting a ticket do you think?

I am currently assuming I will get on everything in a day when we visit November 2025, but I'm aware I'm probably being optimistic. There is unlikely to be any express pass and the current ticket plan looks like they will be restricting people to one visit to Epic in a multiday Universal ticket so I expect it should be OK. Also by restriciting to one visit they better have it set up so you can see most of the park in a day!

Rumours point to a 5.25.25 as a opening date.
Looking back Universal Studios started Previews at the beginning of May 1990 and opened on the 7th June.
Islands of Adventure started previews on March 27, 1999 but with delays didn’t open to May 28.

There are no real rumours of an actual opening date as far as I am aware, and certainly not from the ussual more reliable sources. The only place I have seen the 25th mentioned was last week on a popular UK Disney/orlando planning site where a poster in the furums who had been on holiday in universal claimed a regular staff member told them that was the opening date! While it certainly could be the 25th may it’s highly unlikely a staff member outside upper management on the project team will be aware of any planned opening date yet.

I have not seen the 25th mentioned anywhere else at this point.

Wall Street Journal (Paywall removed link) have jumped on reporting the rumoured Memorial Day opening, also indicating ticket sales could go live as early as this month.

I'm not sold on there being a fully-fledged open product by that point; a soft launch at best. There still seems to be a lot to do from a landscaping perspective, and theming is also still being added daily. Also, if they were going to do ticket sales this month, I'd anticipate there being a greater build-up than just releasing them to the wild in the next two weeks.

On the positive side, this video of Stardust Racers testing at night is otherworldly:
