Walibi Holland: General Discussion

Great to see this testing, looking on course for the planned April opening which bodes well for my trip in May.
Only potential issue I can foresee is refining the duelling aspect as this obviously hasn't been done on an RMC raptor before. From that video it looks like that might need a few tweaks.

YoY has begun testing.
They both look great. They also seem to be very smooth (although that might simply be an off-ride impression), and surprisingly floaty.

Theming around YoY is starting to take shape.
Also confirmation that it will have a single-rider queue - which seems a bit pointless for single seater...

Depending on how the queue works if you've got one seat left with a single rider queue you'll be sending a full train everytime and not need to shout down the main queue line for a single guest, slowing down the train (most of the raptors have rolling stations). Also confirmation that it will have a single-rider queue - which seems a bit pointless for single seater...
Some groups will still want to ride together regardless of whether you sit next to each other, at least based on Jersey Devil Coaster.
For noting, if you try to dummy book fast lane passes YoY is stated as not included in any of the packages currently. Don’t know if that means there won’t be any to begin with for YoY or that they will introduce a super expensive option/one shot for YoY.

It's quite common for new rides to not be added to express pass systems for at least a season or two. I'd expect it to be added eventually. Some groups will still want to ride together regardless of whether you sit next to each other, at least based on Jersey Devil Coaster.

I know, it was more making people aware for trip planning purposes. WH have one of the better fast pass systems with the virtual queuing (rather than, say, the Walibi Belgium system). It's quite common for new rides to not be added to express pass systems for at least a season or two. I’m keeping an eye on the park as I’m planning a visit over Easter since the feedback is that YoY will be ready for season opening (5th April). Except they are not even selling tickets for any date in 2025 yet!

Walibi Holland have been pretty slow off the mark this year, they only released their calendars last Thursday. Resulting in a mad scramble to replan our itinerary in May as they're inexplicably not open Mon-Fri the week we are visiting.I know, it was more making people aware for trip planning purposes. Word of warning for anyone thinking of visiting in September as well: the park is only open at weekends throughout the whole of that month.
I would happily have taken a Merlinesque 10-4pm providing the park was actually open!

Untamed was on the fast passes when I visited in 2019, used to 50% off wait times constantly.
However in 2022 at Walibi Belgium Kondaa was only available as a single use one shot fast pass.
Mahuka at Walibi Rhone Alpes, which is an Intamin single rail, was also only available as single use one shots when I visited in September 2024.
So I'd guess they'll have it available for a costly single go option.

Looks as though they're just selling those for April for the time being, I guess they are expecting a rush at the start of the season. Perhaps with a view to extend if the crowds continue into May (I imagine they'll be needed for Ascension weekend!). Anyway it bodes well for them opening as planned with the park on 5 April. It appears you can now buy day tickets.
The fast pass system for YoY is the 'YoY Guarantee' - buy time slots for 2.50 EUR for access to either Chill or Thrill. Can buy multiple per day.

Hope so! I'll feedback if/how well it works for my visit, have booked Easter Sunday and a slot for each side for the morning and the afternoon. As I've been before I'll judge everything else on the day.
Another heads up for ticket discount - WH have a countdown to YoY on the website. When it hits 22:22:22:22 they are selling 22222 open dated (until September) tickets for €22.
As of this posting that would suggest 1pm GMT tomorrow (13th March) though may have got that wrong, doing it in my head.
Doesn’t help me but may save someone here a few quid.

Does it link to the rapids or just to Condor? With the placement of markers on that map it's not easy to tell if there's a connecting path or not
EDIT: To whom it may concern, I don't want to download an app for a park I'm making a one-off visit to just to look at the map. Put in on your website.

It links just to Condor and to Goliath (which will be the main access route from the entrance)Does it link to the rapids or just to Condor? With the placement of markers on that map it's not easy to tell if there's a connecting path or not
